Cable threader
Bought this to thread dash cam rear camera lead through headlining of car. Rods are quite stiff so do not bend easily but if they were too flexible they would bend when you don’t want them to. Screw connections seem secure but to make sure twist when feeding in the tightening direction. Although couldn’t thread cable all the way to the front of the headlining, it certainly made the job possible.

So handy - but compact
Just moved into new property and needed to install extra wiring before carpets fitted.Drilling 50mm holes in floors or ceilings used these rods to route network, alarm, coax cables and T+E.Nice length for accessibility.Rods well made and fit together well.Would recommend

Snapped, total rubbish. Not fit for purpose of even light DIY use.
Rubbish. I had one job, just one to do so I took the chance and ordered this cheap-o set instead of spending much more on a "pro" kit.I figured since I've never needed one before, and I only have one job to use it for I could get away with using a cheap set. Big mistake.All I wanted to use this kit for was to put speaker wire from 5 speakers into the wall. After 5 minutes, I had lost the hook in the wall because it sheered straight off. After 10 minutes I had lost half of the set inside the wall due to one at the end I was holding snapping off. So I now have half of this kit in the wall and a few extra bits and pieces hiding behind the plasterboard.They are cheap, flimsy, inflexible and prone to snapping. Total garbage, very unhappy with this kit. Don't waste your money on cheap stuff and spend the extra, even if like me you only had one job to use it for. It's better than the frustration of having half of the kit stuck behind the wall.
