I have a rescue dog that is constantly chewing unless he is sleeping. He has chewed up alomost all his toys. Rawhide bones are a thing that is gone in less than one hour. However, this chew bone has lasted for some time. Only by today am I taking away his first stick to try making a cheese puff out of it. I do not give him the Yak sticks to chew on continueally; he gets these as a secondary treat along with his peanut butter kong when he has to wait in his crate for our return. Since having this to chew on he has not pulled the rubber off the water pan, not chewed holes in his crate pad/blanket nor destroyed another poor stuffed critter.To address the mold issue some have had & torn packaging...I'd like to say this.....I had these added to my monthly delivery of other items & the bag was not torn. Seems to me the single-use bag the chews were mailed in my be the issue whereas my order was sent in a corrigated box. To keep the mold from occurring we keep the sticks in the fridge, especially after having been chewed on during the hot & humid days we have had. Again, no issues to complain concern.The so-called scanners of content may not let this be published saying it is not relivent to all customers but I disagree after reading the high number of complaints in the reviews for these 2 issues. If you get to read this , I hope the info is helpful for your next order.UPDATE: A few reviews complained the stick did not poof when microwaved. The 1st stick did poof nad here is what I did: I dropped the 2 inch stick into a pan of hot water leaving it to sit in the water over night. Actually I forgot about the soaking stick in the water, by morning I figured i would find a slimmy mess but did not. I used the 30 second button on my microwave. I put the stick on a paper plate & hit the 30 second button. after the first 30 seconds I flipped the stick over & hit it back into the microwave for another 3o seconds. My boy has the prettiness cheese poof to chew on the next time he is in his crate, No problems here!!!

I have tried several brands of yak chews. My rescue fur baby is a heavy chewer and I wanted something that would last after more than 5 minutes . Don’t get me wrong, my dog likes the 2 or 3 other brands that I tired but………. the large sizes were smaller ( either shorter or thinner) and the prices were significantly higher. To be fair, these are still not cheap, but are much better priced than the rest. I saw these and thought why not try them? I was skeptical because of the quantity specified and the pricing. When I received them I was very pleasantly surprised - every one on the multipack was almost identical in size. Then came the taste test: my dog absolutely loves them! Like really really loves them. He carries one with him all day. Yes- I said ALL DAY!!!! This amazing brand not only gives him a taste he loves -but one stick has been lasting about a week ( sometimes a little less, sometimes a little more). They are made perfectly so that my rescue fur baby will chew on them for awhile, take a break, walk around the house or yard with it, and then repeat. These are simply the best yak sticks I have found for the best price I have yet to come upon. I will continue to purchase these as long as this company continues exactly as they have been with quality, quantity , sizing and pricing. Don’t hesitate to purchase these!!

These are great. My dachshund mix has been eating these for years. I used to have to make my own. And after how many burns from my microwave turntable and cuts from trying to make them small enough for my fur baby, these have been a godsend. The only thing I would change is I would offer them in this size and in a size that is half this size. I still have to cut some of them in half. But it isn’t as hard as the ones I used to make. Your dogs should go crazy for them

My pup absolutely loves these! I have an aggressive chewer so giving these to her as is or after soaking and puffing them up in the microwave both work for her. She loves these either way. I love to watch her enjoy them so much! When she gets them in the "raw" she can chew for quite a long time. She's not one to let it alone and then go back. She'll chew it until it's gone which takes about 35-40 minutes for these small ones. After the microwave, they almost triple in size and become extremely crunchy! She loves them like this and will actually take her time enjoying every crunchy bite. Only about 10 minutes though and she's done. These digest easily for her which is important. They smell like bacon when they're in the microwave. Whatever they taste like to her, she loves them! They're affordable too, so a great treat for her!

I bought the Monster 4-Pack as a birthday treat for my black lab who just turned 1 (he’s a big boy—about 100 lbs), and he absolutely loved it! He devoured the first treat with so much enthusiasm. It lasted about 20 minutes before I had to step in and soften it to make it safer for him to continue chewing.I followed the instructions to soak it in warm water and microwave it, but it got very hot and I had to wait for it to cool down. Unfortunately, by the time it cooled, the treat had hardened again. I tried the process a second time and had the same issue.What worked better for us was soaking the treat overnight in water—it softened enough by morning and was much easier for him to chew safely. Overall, he was obsessed with the flavor and had a great time enjoying his birthday snack, but I do wish the softening directions were a bit more practical and the treat lasted a little bit longer
