Great to paint with
I like the style of the brushes & they are lovely to paint with, the hold a nice amount of paint on the brush & paint quite smoothly. My only criticism would be they lose the odd bristle here & there when painting although these are thick so easy to pluck out.

Great brushes
Love these brushes for painting and waxing with Frenchic paint and wax. Did great coverage and got into the grooves. Lovely handle for great hold and easy to wash. No bristles came out whilst using. Very pleased with them.

Excellent product and cost effective
Used for chalk painting all our kitchen cupboards twice over. Brushes were surprisingly brilliant, an occasional loss of hair but easy to pick out as nice and thick.

Perfect for restoring old furniture. Excellent brushes.
Having arrived yesterday, I couldn't wait to try them out with some Rustoleum chalk paint on an old pine bookshelf. The brushes are so comfortable to use and the paint brushes on easily with no bristle loss. All 4 sizes came in handy on the bookshelf with the smallest one ideal for the edges and the largest ideal for the sides of the unit. The brushes are easy to wash out at the end of the job and the bag is resealable so they will last nicely until my next shabby chic project, which I guess will be very soon having now got the bug !

Nice looking brushes
I thought these brushes looked really well made and highly suitable for my painting project. They were recommended for chalk paints and I loved all the different sizes. They were really nice to hold. They washed really well afterwards. They came nicely boxed. However they did shed some bristles which I was very disappointed about. These went on to the painted surface and I had to pick them off. I’m hoping this was because they were new and it won’t keep happening but as yet I don’t know. Good quality brushes shouldn’t really shed hairs at all. I didn’t try them with the wax finish as I couldn’t see how they would easily pick up and spread hard wax in a tin.

Great!
I used these brushes to give my staircase a refresh with the wood effect hack with frenchic paint.I used size 12 without any issues. I also used the smallest brush (cut the handle off to get into tight small areas and it worked perfectly. I did get some fall out of bristles from the smallest brush but not the other brush I used

Made a transformation easy
Upcycled my dresser which was built in 1939 now it looks very expensive these brushes shed a little but they are otherwise perfect live the finish

Not as soft as they look
The brushes are not as soft as you’d expect and you do still get brush marks so 2-3 coats are needed. Coverage is still better than with a synthetic brush though.Came nicely packaged in and reusable box.Very easy to clean and a comfortable brush to hold and work with.Overall I think pretty good value for money...... although I do wish they were softer bristles.
