This is small, so this is great for streaks or similar job. I bought this for my daughter's last game and the applicator is a dream. Not only is it two-sided, it has one side to get the color on your hair, and the other side (brush side) to comb it in and help it set. Note: if you are using a bright color, I would recommend an old shirt and perhaps some latex gloves so it doesn't die your skin, but if you rinse your hands off quickly, there isn't too much of a stain remaining. The color in my daughters hair only lasted about a day and that was with heavy sweating. Other note: if you are applying this to hair and then plan to style it, the color will be MUCH lighter once you are done styling. It kinda powders off as it is touched/styled.

Maybe this works for people with straight hair but the “wand” that comes included absolutely does not work for curly hair. I could barely get any of the color onto the actual curls. All it did was make my hair frizzy like I was brushing it. It would be nice if you could just dump it into your hand to put on your hair but no, it won’t come out of the bottle like that either. Very disappointing.

Worked okay- the brush applicator was hard to use and got very messy. Made the hair very stiff, but worked at giving them a little color for their Halloween costume.

I ordered this for my 12yr old to temporarily color his bangs and the color saturation is great! Granted, he put ALOT on his hair, kinda like a teenage girl with too much eyeshadow, he didn't know when to stop, but it was definitely blue. This blue is more of an aqua blue than a dark blue. His hair is a dark strawberry blonde and the coverage and saturation was great. It took quite a few dips and strokes to completely cover his color, but it did cover it. It dries nicely and doesn't leave the hair so stiff that it can't be brushed out with the color still remaining. This is one of the best temporary colors we've tried as far as color saturation and non-stiffness.Now the problem: It will stain your hands and skin! We had to use bleach water to get it off of his hands and face. Even after it dries, it will still rub off and stain your skin. He slept with it on and looked a bit like a smurf when he woke up. Even his pillowcase was blue.It washed out of his hair great when he showered, but his skin still had a blue tinge. I haven't tried to wash the pillowcase yet so we will see how that goes.

Unfortunately, The purple is much harder to show up(or we received a defected one) but she loves the sparkle (just wish it showed more). I don’t love the comb mechanism they have for applying or brushing/evening out. Wear gloves, my fingers wear more of the paint than her hair. Cute concept, seems to wash out easy too.
