Were these hangers ok for hanging coats/winter coats on?

They're ok for medium weight coats and jackets, but not for your 'heavier' thicker winter ones. Hope this helps.

Could you confirm the full height of the hanger is 11.2cm (I've only got a short hanging space so I'm looking for the shortest hangers I can find)

Mine are 9cm from the top of the hanger (hook) to the point where they meet the plastic hanger. Does this help? Lesley

I would assume China. They are fairly sturdy hangers though.
