Yes, durable but not a good pencil case. My extra long blacking pencils with tip protectors do not fit. Also only super slim pens fit so not fountain pen friendly. Good value but not suited to my needs.

I finally have my "Bacon Vault". Meaning, when I pack a deli sandwich I have a place to store 1-2 sices of crisp (in foil) bacon strips without risk of breaking them (yeah, I'm a little weird that way). trick: Then need to be stored seperately from the sandwich to keep "that snap"! This is the only thing I found that is long enough (can I say that?) with the right shape to keep em' safe. And when my doctor tells me to lay off the bacon, I'll have a GR8T pencil box :O)
