I bought one of these chargers last year and it worked well for about 1 year which is pretty good compared to other types I have bought in the past . However I bought another this year and the quality is completely different, it has a really pungent smell of cheap plastic and failed after about 1 month. It was charging the phone when I heard a pop on the battery and now will not work at all.

4th case, always "breaks", electronically, not physically.Either the charge through stops working altogether or is so super slow it's pointless, or the case charges phone 10% then shuts off, all lights off etc
