Yes it very much so could be used to cover a concrete shower pan in the walls. The only real difference between a fiberglass pan and a concrete pan is the concrete pan is stronger has better drainage less likely to ever cause leaks or issues and looks better in my opinion because you tile or do a pretty concrete at the bottom. But the offset of the walls I believe is greater with the fiberglass pan then with the concrete pan. One thing I did and do is use a polyurethane caulk on all the edges and seams this is a lot harder to work with for it's not water-based. So what I do is I mask about a quarter inch away from the seam on both sides and then apply to caulk down it and then push it in with my finger ensuring its flat along the tape so as do not leave a ridge. Are then peel the tape while it's still wet leaving a perfect line I found if you see any flaws just let them be let it dry fix it after you touch it always seems to make it works. Make sure you have acetone on hand and lots of rags and an open plastic bag to dispose of your garbage. I'd recommend a 3M 4200 sealant or a sikaflex brand polyurethane construction sealant that they carry in many colors White tan dark bronze and so on. If you're to use the white of either of these your best to let any product holding the walls on to dry completely and any paint around to dry completely before applying for the chemical drying process of the products around it will cause it to yellow out during its drying process if they are not fully cured

Is black available in the tiles? I see it in the pictures.

I'm not sure I got the white and it looks awesome but black would be pretty neat
