Awesome Tent
Why did you pick this product vs others?:It was very spacious for stretching out and has great ventilation with two doors and windows. The quality is amazing with good vinyl in a friendly green color. Zippers are easy to open an position to allow easy access. Tent is light weight and easy to carry, but requires practice to put back in its case. This was good buy that wasn't too expensive for the amount of room you get and is perfect for big and tall people with potential for small children.

Compact for travel
We needed a small tent that would not take up much cargo room on our road trip. This tent was perfect. My teen son easily set it up. Taking it down was a bit more challenging, but we found you just have to be firm with the process. If you don’t hold tight, it will pop back open. The other small issue is condensation. Some overnight condensation did seep in. It doesn’t seem to be waterproof, but we didn’t experience rain on our trip, so I’m not sure what would happen if it actually down-poured. That said, this was a light, easy set up with room for two and doesn’t take much cargo space.

Loved it… until it rained. But Customer Service saves the day!
The media could not be loaded. Update: (08/08/2025As for the performance of the tent in rain, I stand by my (2) star rating. However, I am adding (2) stars to my original review for exceptional “post-purchase customer care.”So 2+2=4.Following my posting of the review, I was contacted by Night Cat Customer Service. They apologized for the disappointment caused by the leaky tent, assured me they were dedicated to “making things right” and offered to send me their 12x10 camping tarp at no cost so that I can use my pop-up tent in the rain. The tarp arrived ahead of their promised delivery date and I have now had an opportunity to camp with it pitched above the tent. I must say, the tarp is very well made with good reinforcement at the tie out points as well as heavy duty grommets. The stuff sack is ample sized and there were 4 stakes and 8 guylines with tensioners included.During my overnight use of the tarp it was extremely humid with heavy dew and the tarp kept the entire tent dry. I have included photos, though for some reason they are displayed in random order with the originals. All in all I am very pleased with Night Cat’s response to the tent’s poor performance in rain. And in my opinion they provided the epitome of excellent post-purchase customer care.(Original Review)I waffled over buying a pop-up tent, then at the recommendation of my brother-in-law, bought this one when the price came down. I will say I very much like the shape, color, roominess, number of doors and windows and ease of deployment. BUT, the first time I used this tent it rained. And the tent leaked like a sieve through both (closed) windows. While I appreciate the fact that the solid window panels are zippered on the inside of the tent, their poor design allows water to pool between the mesh and solid panels like a gutter where they’re stitched along the bottom. So rain has nowhere to go except through the seams, where it then travels down the interior mesh pockets like a drip line until it runs to the lowest point on the tent floor. We had an inch and a half of rain that night and as a result my air mattress, sleeping bag and poncho liner were soaked from wicking up the water. I am so incredibly disappointed. I love everything about this tent except that it leaks. Now I have to tarp it, which completely defeats the whole point of having a 30 second deployable 2-man tent. Should have saved the $85 and just kept using one of my other leaky tents.

Great tent, easy to fold back up
I got this tent for a June-July camping trip from California to Alaska and back during the summer. In the two-person sized tent, we could fit two adults and a very large German Shepard comfortably in it. My 70-year-old mother was a little worried about getting in and out of it because of the low entrance but she didn’t have any trouble.I was very worried about the durability but it lasted the entire trip and still looks great. One of the reasons I got a pop up tent was because it folds flat, and I did not have a lot of room in the car for a traditional tent. But it was cool to just toss it on the ground, and after the first two times, it was super easy to fold back into the bag and takes only about a minute. We camped in Northern California, Oregon, the middle of British Columbia, Alaska, Montana and Wyoming. Most of the time, we left the doors open and with just the screen zipped up to see the scenery and the stars at night. We did get rained on in Montana and the tent flooded, but I think that was mostly my fault for not staking it down. So the door-sides of the tent were not on the ground and it formed a sort of bowl that catches the rain instead of sheeting off the doors. I want to take it out in the rain again to see if that was the issue. But it is odd that the outside door does not zip on the bottom. We never had a problem with condensation, but we didn’t close the tent up all the way except for during the thunderstorm. This tent would be no good at all for snow because there is very little support for the top and it would collapse easily. You can’t even hang a lantern from the ceiling but there is one hook over one of the doors that can hold a very light-weight lantern.Overall, I love this tent and I can’t wait to take it out again.

Simple Camping Must Have
It assembles in seconds. Take it out, throw it on the ground, it’s up in 3 seconds. Very simple to take down. Gather it in the middle, do a number 8, fold it over and repeat once. Stuff it back in the bag. Took about 2 minutes to get it disassembled and back in the bag the first time. By the third time I had it under a minute. We fit a full size air mattress. It could easily fit a queen. We took it on a 3 day camping trip. It rained every day. The inside stayed dry. 2 inside easy zip windows and a lantern hook.I took a gamble on this tent and it paid off!Photo beside wheel and average height newly 8 year old for size reference.
