The kit comes with good parts but the quality of the box feels very cheap for a 130 item

Wiring

This is a very handy tool kit. I like the ratcheting crimper that is color coded for the size connector you may be working on. I also like the wire strippers that work well. I don’t see that I will use the gloves very often. The Phillips screwdriver is a quality made tool; I wish they had included a straight one as well. I think the wide array of connectors that came with it really makes this a useful tool kit. I was able to bypass using my soldering iron and use the connectors in the kit to build my project. It took me less than half the time to put a small circuit together using this tool kit than using the soldering iron and no fumes! I hope over time the connections will hold up well. I have already used up the 15 female spade connectors and have ordered more.Although it is a bit pricey, it largely (or completely) can replace the soldering iron when building things using wires. I found any connections I need to make so far are in the kit. The only time I will need the iron will be when I solder the wires to a chip or a component. I wasn’t sure when I first bought the kit that I would use it much, but I was wrong. Not only have I used several connection components in the kit, I used up so many I had to order more. This kit is has become a valuable resource for my little workshop.

Well stocked kit, terminals included will handle just about any situation encountered. Shipped in a hard plastic storage case with a flip top storage compartment. As I said the included selection of terminals handle just about any situation and come in a range of sizes from around 26 up to 12 gauge. Various sizes of shrink tubing are included to finish off any application. Comes with a nice selection of lever style hard connectors that can be reused. In order to put this kit to work the needed tools are included, a crimper to attach the terminals. This is an upgraded crimper, that is multitudes better than the old style hand crimper that used to be a part of these kits. The wire strippers work perfect to prepare the wires and also included is a pair of work gloves. One thing I found out using this kit is there are no instructions as to usage, when prepping wires for terminals, especially the barrel connectors to splice together wires, make sure you strip only about 1/4” of wire or as in case of the barrel connector, issues can result. Other then the lack of a strip gauge this kit is well supplied and can be a godsend when a problem occurs our during a installation.

This automotive electrical repair kit has been a very pleasant surprise.I expected that there would be a good assortment of wire terminal and connector ends, but suspected they might be somewhat on the cheaper end, with plastic insulation that cracks when crimped, or terminals that bend or distort easily. I also anticipated that I would use my own wire strippers and crimpers because the ones provided in these kind of kits aren't usually all that good or last very long.Let me say that this kit rises far above all those negative expectations. The ratcheting crimper is solid, and the crimps for each size wire are precise, neither over-crimping and crushing the terminal or leaving the wire loose so it pulls out of the terminal. The wire strippers are sharp and are among some of the better ones I have used in this style. Yes, it also comes with a screwdriver, in the event you need that in your electrical endeavors.The case is a bit of a weak link, as it would not last long with the occasional drop off of a fender or ladder. It is a very convenient storage case, with good division of areas for the different terminals and connectors.This will be my go-to electrical kit moving forward, simply because of the quality of the tools and the variety of terminals and connectors.

Screwdriver held up to one screw and now it's shot... softest metal known to man. The crimpers that came with this set have not worked since the day I got the set. They don't crimp the connectors properly, and you can clearly see the jaws are bent. Don't worry though, the seller assured me they'd make it right, only to dismiss the issue and tell me it's not their problem. If you know what's good for you, I would avoid this kit and purchase something else that works from a reputable seller in the United States, avoid China like the plague because all they do is sent trash, and don't stand behind the products they sell.
