I’m gonna be honest here, I went and bought myself multiple but different needle point kits one night, with this being an included purchase; I have yet to start it. It’d been a while before about a month ago that I’d gone and embroidered something, so long in fact I was just a young teen, haha. I can’t wait to work up to this one though, it’s gonna feel so good to complete seeing as it is packed right with different fungi to stitch.•Color: The color selection that was made and decided upon for this piece is absolutely lovely and the choice of using mushrooms as the focus is fantastic, as there are so many different, colorful, shapely, ect kinds of mushrooms; makes for a lovely sight.• Ease of Use: Like I came clean about at the beginning of this rating, I’ve yet to start this one, as it’s one of several (some were sold in multipacks), so I’ve both got my work cut out for me and, truth be told, there’s just such a full plate of work for this one that I wanted to work up to it. It looks like a more intermediate to harder level one, but by the time I get my hands on it I’ll make sure I complete it like a champ! Haha• Quality: As I always tend to do when I’ve gotten a package in the mail, I’ll go back on Amazon, check the list of products purchased in the sale, make sure all is there that was assured to be, check the condition of my packages contents for any ware or tear,(which was not the case for this one, everything came out of the package in perfect condition, thank you) and then either deal with damaged goods or start up on my stitch in’. I really like this little project. It comes with all that is needed to complete the craft and the directions are clear and concise. The thread quality is beautiful and its shimmer gives the project a satin feel and an added depth to the design. I think that even a novice could easily achieve decent results. As for children, it might well be suited and fun for young teens, as the directions are specific, but this kind of detailed embroidery takes patience to learn - it could be too much for someone younger or otherwise totally inexperienced with a needle and thread.

The highland cow design with the flower crown is just adorable. Such a fun and relaxing project—highly recommend for beginners or anyone who wants a cute piece to hang up!

Very cute! I’ve loved working on this project! The only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is because the step by step video tutorial it says that it comes with doesn’t exist when you type in the URL. I still had a lot of fun working on this too and I like how it comes with everything else that you need. I wouldn’t recommend this for a beginner because it’s a little confusing at first but definitely worth the money if you know a little bit about embroidery and want a fun little kit.

Super Cute and was great as a Christmas gift for my cat loving friend. Prefect for a beginner project. I had never done any embroidery before so this was a first for me.

I just got this item. I am so excited to start. The kit comes with everything needed to create these lovely embroidered patterns. The thread colors are vibrant, and the designs on the fabric are well marked to easily follow.

I’ve never done embroidery before, and I expected directions. It comes with a piece of paper that does show the different stitches, but it’s a lot for a beginner to figure out. There’s a website listed for “detailed tutorial videos” but the link doesn’t go anywhere. No videos, no actual website at the address given.
