I have to replace these A40 cords every 2 or 3 years which is amazing with the abuse they go through. They get yanked out, beer spilled on them and cats try to chew them. For them to last as long as they do is a testament to their quality.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Great price and functional product. I've purchased one of these from a different suppliers and it did not work correctly. This one worked perfectly right out of the box. It has been working fine for over a month of grand kid use! Great deal for the money.

Replaced my damaged cable for A40 TR. works great. I will note that the cord doesn’t trigger the light indicator for muting the mic which i don’t particularly mind but might not be what others are looking for. the audio quality is just as good as the original. The cable is wrapped in a woven fabric which may lack durability compared to the thicker plastic/rubber of the original but it is much more flexible.

I cannot recommend this. I needed to replace the OEM cable and this one has issues. Everytime you touch the mute slider, there is a ton of feedback as if you were rubbing your mic against a blanket. It is very annoying. Also when there is no sound i hear a buzzing and popping noise. No matter how many times I unplug and replug it in it is there. Disappointed in this one and will continue looking for a good replacement.
