u cant u need to connect to internet first so console can download new software to run games

Q: Is this too babyish for a 6 year old?

My son is almost 5 and it's just right for him. He doesn't have access to any other type of games console (play station etc) so it's perfect for him. Easy to use and it's compatible with quite a lot of the innotab cartridges. Guess it depends on what your child is used to and what they expect from this as it's more about educational games rather than action type. Maybe Google some of the game demos and see if you think they would be suitable :)

There are good built in games once updated on Vtech's Vendor Central which is working now. This is a very good console for the price
