Very Nice!
Received this bow, and was very happy with it. The box that the bow came in, was quite a bit smaller than the shipping box. It could have had some packing put in the smaller box, since riser and limbs were loose. There was a blemish on the riser, but I could buff it out, if I felt so inclined to do so.Having watched some reviews on Youtube, I decided to put some felt/synthetic cloth between the limbs and riser, before assembly. It helps reduce 'twang' noise. I also picked up some strings from Shatterproof Archery (D97) since other reviewers suggested that was a good move. The supplied string was fine, and should do you well, but it's always good to have a back up string also.I'm returning to the sport, after may years away. If you are returning to archery after a long absence, or are just starting out, 30# is great. I'm sure I can pull 45-60#, but those muscles are needing strength training again. I highly recommend starting off with lower poundage and working up. As a benefit of lower poundage bows, you can practice more!I'm planning to shoot this bow 'off the shelf' , with a three finger glove. Fired off about 50 arrows the first day. Was very happy with how it was working out.I liked the darker, more subdued finish on this model, over their Edge Pro model. Other factors are knobs for securing the limbs, instead of an Allen key bolt. So 'tool-less' assembly/disassembly. Threaded point for future accessories! So, if you want sights, quiver, arrow rest or stabilizer, then it's all ready to go! and last but far from least, they sell additional limbs here too! So if a lower poundage gets old, then you can step up to more, with just the limb change. At this price, it's easy to get into archery, and not have to break the bank.Edit. I've had this bow for a week, now. I've really been enjoying it. It's really helped me get my shooting form back. All the little subtle things like grip on the riser, stance, shoulder position, focus, and sting 'release'.Normally shoot about 60+ shots, each session. Definitely getting the muscles in my shoulders and back into shape! I'm very happy with this bow! Will be planning on getting some 45 pound limbs in the future. At this point, I'm using these arrows: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074ZQR2F1/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_1?smid=AUAUD7CWVL5SN&psc=1These arrows fly straight, and am happy with them.Oct. 7, 2022 Liked it so much, just received a second bow at 45#. Went with a full bow, instead of just limbs because 'why not have an extra riser for $21? Set it up a little different, from the 30# bow. Using the B55 string that came with it. Put a magnetic rest on it.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09PV618YC?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsNot completely in love with the rest, might be going to an 'off the shelf' style later.Used some camo tape to distinguish between the 30 and 45 lbs limbs. I defiantly don't shoot it as much as the 30#. If you are starting out, or just coming back to archery after a long absence, go with 25-40 (max) to start. These bows are very attractive in appearance, and very well made. Yes, they are made in China, but are a great starting point. When you get to the point of out -growing them, or just move on to nicer custom build bows, then pass these on to other beginning archers.Edit: Oct 16, 2022 So the only issue I've had so far is mounting a Trophy Ridge sighthttps://www.amazon.com/Trophy-Ridge-Joker-4-Pin-Sight/dp/B00OPA6DXO/ref=pd_ybh_a_sccl_1/145-1732985-4024342?pd_rd_w=lyJhN&content-id=amzn1.sym.67f8cf21-ade4-4299-b433-69e404eeecf1&pf_rd_p=67f8cf21-ade4-4299-b433-69e404eeecf1&pf_rd_r=TGDQA9967KETVX1SQMRX&pd_rd_wg=7bUC0&pd_rd_r=17b11e9f-d658-4308-b919-5ac7dbb4dab5&pd_rd_i=B00OPA6DXO&th=1The issue is two fold: the screws are slightly longer than the inserts, and the counter sink in the mounting arm of the sight. So as the screws are tightened, they 'push' the insert out of the hole, and the counter sink (because the sight arm is made for left or right application) allows the insert to move out of the hole. Adding a flat washer should help eliminate this problem. These bows have been working great for MANY arrows down range! If I stay focused, and do my part, I get good groups. I highly recommend.

Great bow
This is an easy bow to shoot. Just pick it up and shoot. I used to think the Black Hunter was the best value for the money but this bow bumps it out for number one

Great bow, but don't be dumb around it.
Great bow. I'm Relatively new to archery and I got this one that I had put in my wishlist years ago. It was everything I wanted: Good draw weight, easy to assemble and use, cool looking. Had a good week practicing with it, and my fiance got a large bruise the first day from not using it right. Unfortunately, I threw a rather large stick for my dog and it hit the bow leaning against the wall. Snapped it perfectly in half. My fault entirely, but still recommend the bow.

40# bow is NOT a 25#/30# bow. A fairly sturdy 15 year old could use it, but not an 11 year old.
This is amazing. It is essentially the same bow with all of the features as a Samick - near as I can tell. Very well made and no cosmetic irregularities. You get great limbs, bolts, 19" riser, a bow string with finger guards place on the string. No brass nock, they give you a plastic arrow rest (Stick on) and the shortest stringer I have ever seen with a bow. Com'on guys the stringer was exactly the same size as the bow string. Two more feet of string and this would have been a flat out steal of a deal. OK, it is still a steal at the price I paid. I have the limb guards, beaver fluffs for the string and rug/etc for the shelf. A happy camper am I.

Great deal for a great bow
I’m not very experienced in recurve bows, but this seems like a great starter bow. My friend who goes bow hunting every year gave me the thumbs up and said he might just pick one up for those long hikes.

The limbs are also robust and durable, and they can easily handle the 50lbs draw weight.Another great feature of this bow is its takedown design, which makes it easy to assemble and disassemble. You can take it apart into separate pieces for easy storage and transport. Additionally, the bow is very versatile, as it has the capacity for bow fishing, making it an excellent option for those who enjoy fishing and hunting. As for shooting, I can confidently say this bow is a joy to use. It has a smooth and consistent draw, and it is very accurate and powerful.
