I've been using it for a month now daily and this really good.Almost impossible to get bad temp thanks to self leveling plate.Works perfectly with breville 54 mm portafilter.Great build quality, comes with spare 15 lbs spring.Got it for cheaper then the Chinese site..

A great tamper. A definite upgrade compared to the tamper that came with the espresso machine. I like the audible feedback knowing you're at the right pressure. It looks great and fits well.

This is definitely a well made, quality product. No doubts there. It fits my 58mm Rocket portafilter with oem baskets and aftermarket precision baskets. It does what it says and has a separate spring option for different pressure. It's nice that it levels itself on the portafilter to ensure you are tamping evenly but as the tamp part lowers and leaves a gap between it and the part on the edge of the portafilter, coffee grounds end up inbetween the layers. This is most likely a issue with any brands version of a spring loaded tamper so no real fault to this companies construction. Miniscule issue but in all honesty, isn't worth my time to mess with over a standard tamper without the crevices and extra moving parts to clean for essentially the same result when you finally learn to tamp manually.

I bought this to replace a self leveling tamper that came as part of a kit and I cannot be more pleased with everything about this tamper so far. I initially ordered it because I liked the way it looked and I was pleased with the quality of their WDT tool. I didn't even know it had the pressure cutoff and boy has that made a difference in the consistency of my shots! It also makes it much easier to brush clean.

The tamper looks and feels amazing. It has that satisfying click when pressed. Great ergonomics and built quality too. I am not sure whether it is ripple base or the spring, that makes a click, but something disturbing the puck in a way that causes more frequent channeling. I ended up switching to a spring loaded tamper with flat base and no clicks(had better results with such tamper). I am still not sure if it was me doing something wrong, or the tamper, so I still give it 5 stars.
