Joby Pro Series Hand Grip with Ultra Plate 208

This is my second one of these i've bought, they get used for dslr's, action cams, lighting, spotting scopes, the plate is machined not diecast like some others, and in my opinion worth it for this alone, it has a strap slot machined into one end, I dont like the allen bolt supplied to mount camera with, an allen wrench can do up a bolt very tight so be careful, they fit both my arca swiss tripod ball heads,well worth the money paid in my opinion.

What a well made and super versatile little product. This is one of those things that you don't really know you need until it is too late but once you have it you find loads of uses for it.

Does what it says on the tin, well made, definitely over priced, but you know what you are getting with Joby.

Expensive, but good quality. I just chose this one because of lack of a cheaper alternative.

Useful accessory and a nice colour to boot.

After seeing the 'proper people' using this in their videos. I thought id take a look at one myself. Its a solid piece of kit and my canon 6D fits on the base plate with no problems. The metal design means the camera remains solid and there is no fear of it becoming loose at any point. Its especially useful for having the extra bit of stabilisation without having to buy a gimbal.

I was pretty reluctant to pay such a premium for an obnoxiously red piece of aluminum with some 1/4-20 threads milled into it, but I just couldn't find any other options. Nonetheless, in practice the thing works beautifully and I'd wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who builds DIY camera contraptions. Still wish it came in black, though.

I wanted something minimal looking, without all of the extra cold shoe mounts. I also wanted something that wasn't thin looking for its price. This was a nice surprise. It's very minimal, quality build and i can add cold shoe mounts to the base as needed as well as a mount for my tripod. I bought Smallrig's cold shoe adapter - 1241 for my monitor.

C'è poco da dire su questi adattatori. Li ho acquistati per poter sfruttare il mio Gorilla Pod anche con la Garmin Virb X, per cui ero interessato solo a uno dei quattro pezzi presenti nella confezione. Il Kit è comunque completo. C'è un adattatore a vite femmina-femmina, uno maschio-maschio, l'adattatore per fissare la ActionCam (standard GoPro), e un adattatore a scatto per altri tipi di supporto.Per quel che mi riguarda vanno benissimo. Le viti sono del diametro giusto, e le plastiche sembrano robuste. Tutto ok!

Although this does the job it was intended for it could do with quite a few improvements.There should be some way to keep it tight. It tends to come loose after a few bumps and if you have a GoPro with extended battery on it it will flop helplessly over.
