Minor issues
For me wasn't quite plug and play! Had to go to tp link site to get the drivers, I suspect this has issues with windows 11 as works flawlessly with windows 10. However now after a week or so not had any real issues. To be fair I don't expect perfection on wireless, I prefer hardwired myself, but download and upload speeds are the best I've seen for any non pci, or m.2 wifi adapter. Recommend this for anyone on windows 10 and be patient if on windows 11.

Does the job I needed it to do, and it good value for money.
Purchased this for my PC as it doesn't have built in wi-fi and I was no longer going to be able to connect thru an ethernet connection as I was moving it to another room away from the router.I've just received the product and it was very easy to use and the driver to use the product was quickly installed on my pc.My router is downstairs at the front of the house, and I have moved my PC upstairs towards the back of the property, and the range is excellent so far. Whilst I've only used the product for about 45minutes, I have had a consistent full strength signal and doing an internet speed test, it doesn't show that I am loosing any speed despite being further away from the router. There were cheaper options available, but as I intend on using the product using the USB connection cable and having the receiver hanging directly out of a USB slot on my PC, this was definitely well worth the money.

Good But Need Patience!
Just had our internet ungraded to full fiber & wanted to stop using the existing home powerline system for the PC in favour of wifi as the powerline could not deliver decent speeds. The mesh router is on the ground floor & my Office on the 1st. My mobile regularly gets the full download speed in my Office so assumed a good wifi adaptor would do the same for my PC. I was a bit disappointed with the TP Link at first because the speeds were no better than my existing powerline! However I persevered after a few days the TP Link TX20UH started to give very good download speeds. I think, in my case anyway, one needs to be patient with this device as it sort of needs to settle down a bit before hitting the mark. The USB extension cable supplied was essential to enable finding the best place for wifi reception tho. If it wasn't for the initial settling down period I would have rated the wifi signal as 5 stars but easy to install. As usual excellent service from Amazon!Update July 2024. My PC on the 1st floor & router on the ground. Recently been having issues with random slow speeds & disconnection after upgrading to Windows 11 but after changing one of the settings it's much more stable & getting consistant high speeds. This worked for me: Go to Device Manager, locate TP Link Wireless USB Adapter under Network Adapters. Right click TP Link... & select Properties. Then click on the Advanced Tab. Find Preferred Band from the list & select 1. No Preferences. After doing that everything worked fine. Hope it works for you if you are having issues?

Random speed drops.
For close to a decade, I've used the TPlink wifi adapter(Archer T4U AC1200) but it recently died on me so I was on the lookout for a replacement. It was a great adapter and the wireless connection was always stable and data speeds ran at max. I'm currently using a netgear adapter as my backup, bought around the same time, and its a good adapter, but a few times a day its loses connection. The TPlink adapter was more stable. So I was on the lookout for the latest models by TPlink.Unfortunately, swapping out my netgear adapter for this, I'm getting random and frequent speed drops. The connections doesn't drop, but webpages/streaming suddenly freeze and I see the loading icon for about ten seconds or longer before it recovers. This model came out in 2023 so I would have expected any bugs in the drivers to be ironed out by now. Can't be sure its not a hardware issue though.I'm back to using the netgear adapter(NETGEAR - A6210-100PES USB Wireless Adapter), which is fine most of the time. When it dies out, I'll replace it with the latest netgear models. No more TPLink.

Great product. Almost seamsless installation
I have an AC wifi Internal protocol. My wifi router supports AX and I've got the 500Mbps service. Wasn't able to use the full potential with the internal card. This one maxes out the entire pipe! Love it. Though, initially it didn't perform as well. Had to reach out to customer service (very efficient) who asked me to try upgrading the driver.

Frequent packet loss/freezing issues
Pretty poor WiFi card for the money, frequent packet loss/burst problems after trying a couple of different driver versions, usb ports on my PC and messing with different settings people recommend online. Makes it pretty much unusable for gaming. Only positives are the nice design and transfer speeds (when it does behave).Generic adapters that cost less than half the price of this one perform better for me.
