My life changed forever! Where has this been my whole life?! 44yo male seeks near perfect shave. Voilà enter the Manscape Handiman foil shaver!! So I was shopping for a new beard trimmer since my Panasonic (POS) adjustable beard trimmer took a permanent vacation in the dumpster. Man that thing worked well but battery life was sub 5 minutes and the adjustable comb was always moving in the middle of a beard butification project. Not cool. When the comb broke I excitedly looked for a replacement and the Manscape beard hedger appeared in a white glorious cloud touted with rave reviews. Before I even noticed it was in my cart and ready to bless my beard and make all my manly friends jealous. But wait. What is that handsome little handyman shaver doing paired up as an acceptable bundle package?! I must admit my pleasure with my current Norelco Razor was dismal and my curiosity was peaked. Sure, I’ll capitalize on this match made in heaven. I must admit, my expectations were low. 30 years ago on this day, my fathers foil shaver almost took off my face when that first sign of puberty struck with the sprout of a singular facial follicle erupted on my upper lip. It was an experience that traumatized me to my core and my fear of foil shavers was born. My hands trembled upon opening the Handyman packaging. It was beautiful but, would this Hanson little device devour my face and leave me scarred like Deadpool in a wake of trauma and terror? It took all my strength and courage to finally power the little beast to life and get it within range of my two day old stubble. In sheer shock and amazement I realized my fear was stale and unnecessary. The Handyman took on my stubborn and often ingrown beard hairs like a Chinese ninja with the precision and smoothness of only the worlds most deadly and sharp katana sword. I was utterly speechless. It devastated those angry hairs and vanished and resemblance of unwanted facial hairs. Spectacular. Seriously though. I haven’t had this close of a shave with an electric razor in my lifetime. It was fast, smooth as butter and as perfect as you can get with electric. The double sided device with a trimmer on the other side is pure genius and the fact you can charge with a usb c is gold. It fits perfectly in my travel kit like it was made to be there where as my Norelco would not. I’m in love. Oh and the beard hedger is freaking awesome too!!

Hubby loves it. Easy to use, hold, clean, and it gives a close shave. He uses it to hold over in between his razor shaves. He said it definitely comes in handy and saves time. I wonder if they make one for women?

I have always been a blade and foam guy. But I really needed something quicker for the days that I needed to go in a hurry or easier to take traveling. I was very impressed with this shaver. Having never used a foil razor before, there is some getting used to needed, but even on my first shave it got very close to the skin with minimal misses. I did not have any cuts or irritation afterword either which was very surprising to me. The compact size is going to be much easier to travel with compared to a razor, shaving cream, etc. I am really glad I made this choice.

So far, so good. Impressed with the USB-C charging, close shave, and compact design. I previously had a Wahl foil shaver. This is much better because it doesn’t have a proprietary charge and is much smaller.

This is a great shaver - I travel often and it has always been handy in my toiletry kit. The shave isn't the closest I've ever had, but never nicks and gives me a clean and smooth look every time. It's easy to use and the battery life is great. Highly recommended!

Ok, I just received my Handyman and the first thing that jumps out to me is for $80 bucks, they sure are cheap to make it so you have to find a charging block to plug the cord in to charge the thing…(not happy about that but knew that pre purchase). Ok, so I take it out the box and turn it on of course and it’s too loud for my liking, my Lawnmower 3.0 isn’t as loud as this and (not happy about this either).But those being the 2 negative things (for me), this is a pretty neat little shaver. Small, compact and powerful. Cuts clean and shaves good. I can’t speak on the battery because I just received it, but I hope it will be ok. Didn’t have to test out the waterproof aspect of it yet either but I’m confident that it will work flawlessly as does their other products in the lineup. I can recommend it, just wish it was quieter and mostly came with the attachment to plug into the wall or the cord was one piece to go straight into the wall but maybe down the road they will do this….

so, I got this after first bought an entry level phillips tri-head electric shaver in the $40 price range, that was a total disappointment: super weak shave and battery life that required recharge almost after every single use. returned it. figure I probably should up the price range to get the shaver I need, and after some research I decided to buy this. it's been a week since I got it, and I'm thoroughly impressed: solid close shave, gets rid of all my stubble to returns baby-smooth skin. and I've been shaving every day since I received it, it's still running on the battery charge it came out of package, I haven't charged it once! size and ergonomics is great too. how does it compares to bigger brands products in the same price range? that I don't know.
