This stuff is great
I know for most Shin Ramyun is the star of the show but I sort of "found" Neoguri the same day I "found" shin ramyun around 20 years ago when I happened to find them in a stop & shop in the asian foods section. I was already a big fan of ramen and I had a couple that werent just top ramen or maruchan, but nothing like these. For me, I also kind of shifted more toward shin ramyun over time but Neoguri is sort of the other side of the same coin and every bit as good, and special and amazing. And here I am 20 years later and my own kids are eating Nong shim noodles and my wife ALSO loves Neoguri and she didnt even like spicy food that much when we married.... so that tells you something about how good this stuff is and how it can win a person over.That said- to describe these noodles Id say imagine shin ramyun (hard to explain this if you havent had a korean style spicy ramyun) but with a seafood spin and bits of flat seaweed/kelp in there, and the noodles are thick and chewy, not like a real fresh udon but a big increase in girth over a normal ramen noodle. Its milder than shin ramyun but no slouch at all. There is a mild version out there too but thats not what Im reviewing so Ill leave that one out of this and suggest this ramen to anyone with a taste for something spicy, but no so spicy that you dont taste the flavors (like some of the samyang noodles). Great any time , great for camping , great when you have a cold or alergies and want to clear yourself out, great for a quick lunch or lunch at work if you are able to boil it there (unless your coworkers are jerks and hate good smells), Just good, and one of the pinnacles of instant noodles in my opinion.

Great noodles, definatly a large upgrade from cheaper brands
Really wish amazon would let me review the flavors separately, but here is a quick summary. They're all different and all much... MUCH better than other less expensive brands.IMO the best flavors are Ansung Tang Myun & Veggie. 5 stars on those two.Kimchi & Gourmet Spicy (Shin Ramyun) are very close to those as well. I didn't find much of a difference between the Shin Ramyun & the Shin Ramyun Black, the latter had a bit more veggies, but nothing major. 4.5 stars on those two. My next favorite is the spicy seafood. This one has thicker udon style noodles. 4 Stars.My least (but still good) favorite is the Chapagetti. It's more like a cross between spaghetti and a bean flavored ramen. I would give them all 5 stars other than the Chapagetti which I would give a 3.8 or so.For comparison I would give the vast majority of Budget brand ramen I would give a 2.5. It's really hard to go back once you've tried this stuff.As far as spicy hotness (high to low) Spicy > Spicy Seafood > Ansung Tang Myun and the rest I don't consider to be hot. There are spices in the rest, just not heat.I like to cook mine with some frozen broccoli, cauliflower, drizzle in an egg once it gets hot (like you would do egg drop soup), and top it with green onions. Turns one of these into a very filling meal. Depending on the flavor I'll also toss in left over meat that I have around like ham, bacon, beef, whatever. I wouldn't toss that into the seafood one though, which limits it a bit as a flavor.

Just a hint of seafood
Love the spice. A good alternative to the many chicken varieties out there. Nongshim products are not bland and the varieties are diverse. Try this one.

Noodles A+ , Flavor packet...ehh (EDITED)
I'm a grown woman and I shouldn't still love ramen the way I do, but I can't control that. I'm disappointed in the limp mushy supermarket ramens, so I've experimented with a few here. I like things SPICY, so that's what I focused on. These noodles have a great "body", cook them quickly and they have a nice chew. I understand seafood flavor implies fish, but the flavor these came with was more day-old fish than clean and briny. No matter, there are hundreds of other ways to sauce them. Today I whisked together a little peanut butter, some tamari, a LOT of sriracha, and a bit of water. I throw in a scoop of frozen mixed veg in the probably mistaken belief that it adds some nutrition. Sometimes I poach an egg on top. No gold stars for diet here, but for a guilty pleasure, well, it's not the WORST thing I could do.EDIT: Through experimentation, I discovered it was the "flakes" packet that threw the flavor into old-fishiness. The flavor packet by itself is fine! Not SUPER spicy, but spicy enough! Use the flavor packet, throw the flakes away and zhush it up with some sliced garlic, crumbled nori, or whatever. I trust you. You know what to do.

Decently spicy with nice flavor
Seafood flavored ramen might not be for everyone, but I really like this stuff and it is nicely spicy although I usually add other ingredients for additional heat. It is even better with a few green onion added to it. This is very good!

Spicy and tasty
I don't eat it often but I love this stuff. At times I'll omit maybe a half teaspoon of the seasoning if I want to tone down the spice a bit. I'll mix an egg in with it or some chopped up kimchi. I remember once upon a time I'd scoop it onto saltine crackers. There's no end to the things you could try.A bit of a guilty pleasure for me when I do eat it as I really prefer to stay away from most processed food, but it's just so easy to fix and so tasty. No msg is nice. As packaged ramen goes, it's definitely my favorite.

Great Noodle, Great Base
With restaurants charging $15 and up for a bowl I often wonder if they just don't have a big batch of Neoguri or Nong Shim in back, these are better. Sometimes I have them straight up, at times I decrease the spice, they are spicy. Occasionally I use them as a base and throw in some vegetables, sliced more like you would get at a Chinese place, think mushroom, celery, bok choy, water chestnuts, a bit of dry seaweed. And if you want something really good and diffrent, throw in a couple of spoons of kimchi. Good stuff, good price now that the we are sending Covid out the back door.
