Great coffee for the price if it doesn't stop skyrocketing
Looking for reasonably priced coffee beans since my other brand shot up by 25%. Just bought this last week for 7 something and now it's 9 something. So I got a bag just in time. There are other brands of beans still cheaper than on Amazon like copper moon, so I might try it next time. This coffee isn't over or under roasted and has great flavor. Shame coffee drinkers have to pay the price to make America great but here we are. I'd rather buy from a smaller brands than Amazon but nothing is affordable now so we have to do what we can. This is a good option.

Tastes like TJ's Sumatra or Wild Harvest Sumatra
Surprisingly good. It's in line with Organic "Wild Harvest" Sumatra that's $5 more at the market near me. This also is very close to the Trader Joes Organic Sumatra.... which i think is about the same price. I also bought the Green Mountain Organic Sumatra at $1.50 less.... it's "fine", but, this Amazon Sumatra tastes better. Get what you pay for I guess.

Great Coffee and a Good Price
If you enjoy strong, black coffee and have not tried Sumatran coffee, you should. The Amazon brand is a real bargain, much less expensive than the name brands and just as good. Sumatran coffee is dark, strong, and smooth. It has a very straightforward flavor profile that just tastes great. I think of it as the Rolls Royce of coffee, but that's just my opinion of course. To fully enjoy this great coffee, I would encourage you to invest in a good coffee pot and grinder, as well as a digital scale (to weigh exact portions of whole beans to consistently get just the flavor you want), some sort of a water filter, and an airtight cannister. I use a 5 cup Bonavita coffee maker, a Tuni grinder (set to 16), Zero water filter, an Inevifit digital scale(at 20 grams of coffee beans for 16 oz of water), and an Airscape medium canister (which will hold the entire 12 oz bag of the Sumatran beans). I also use a permanent mesh filter. Paper filters soak up the some of the oils that are in the coffee. Some people prefer that taste, but I do not. I realize that the initial cost outlay is a bit pricey for all of this. However, if you enjoy coffee and drink it every day like I do, it's absolutely worth every penny. You will be amazed at how much better your coffee will taste with the proper equipment and a little effort.

I bought this coffee to carry me over till my monthly coffee subscription arrives...
It appears I've been drinking too much coffee lately, as I ran thru my monthly 6 bag subscription of Community signature blend whole bean dark roast coffee!I use to buy AmazonFresh Dark Roast Whole Bean Coffee... "the bold", which I found pretty good, but it's been out of stock for awhile now? My search for "one" cheap bag of coffee beans found this one...The pros:+ Cheap at $7.51 & I could buy just 1 bag!+ FAST Amazon Prime free shipping! The cons:- Absolutely the worst coffee I've ever tasted! It leaves an unpleasant aftertaste in my mouth?- I will NEVER buy this coffee again!Closing remarks:▪ It took some serious "will power", but I was able to choke down the last cup of this vile tasting coffee!▪ If you're curious, my all time favorite whole bean coffee Is Starbucks whole bean Dark Roast Sumatra, 100% Arabica.▪ Coffee prices fluctuate, so when the above Starbucks coffee is too expensive, I was buying AmazonFresh Dark Roast Whole Bean Coffee... "the bold". Hopefully Amazon gets this back in stock!
