What kind of warranty on this umbrella?

There's none and I do not recommend this umbrella. Very flimsy and it broke the first time I used it.

Why does it say easy close when I cannot pull it down to retract it?

My wife also found it difficult to pull down to close, you might want to contact the seller and ask them. But it is a very good umbrella.
