Great for pizza oven. Need a starter to burn but when lit burns well.

The media could not be loaded. Gives the pizza a wood fired taste and smell. Truly adds most of the flavor

It does heat the oven to the +600f point but takes a lot of pellets to keep it there. The fire roasted taste was great!

Used the whole bag and still couldn’t finish making all my pizzas. These pellets burned way too fast. I do not recommend purchasing.

Works well. High price. Picked up 20 lb name brand pellet for only $5 more than one of these 2 lb bags. Not on sale. Just at a big box store. If the other pellet doesn't work as well, I will come back and give more stars for the price.Essentially, with this size bag you will spend $3.50 on pellets for each pizza. (I made 8 pizzas with 3.8 lbs.)If Kona sells a bigger bag, maybe they have a better price.In all fairness, which I try to provide, these small bags would be easier to handle on a picnic or outing.
