I did worry about paying this much for a bin, but most unexpectedly, it's worth it. The bin is so easy to empty, being more vertical than horizontal, that I do wonder why the horizontal design has lasted without being challenged for so long.It is so incredibly easy to empty a full bin and put a new bag in it that I only wish more of life's struggles were so easily resolved.It also seals in smells, when closed, and has so far proven dog-proof - which is the main reason I was willing to pay so much. My dogs have yet to knock this one over and spread the contents all over the kitchen floor.I wasn't going to go to the extra expense and trouble of buying the purposely-made bags, but when I saw how well the bags that came with the bin fitted... I now buy them off Amazon.My only worry is that the catch that keeps the bin closed looks as cheap as those on all the other cheap bins I've been through, and so I worry it will stop working at some point. And this is not a cheap bin to lose.

Wanted a bin that we could proudly have on display and it not be an eyesore. This is spot on - blends in so well with the kitchen, just looks like a piece of furniture. Really easy to assemble and operate.Only thing is - the Brabantia 36L (R size) liners are expensive for what they are. We picked up some generic 50L ones in the supermarket to see if they'll do the trick, if not, we'll have no choice but to spend ~£15 on a pack of liners.

I love this bin! It looks great. The two sections have removable bins so you can keep the bin really clean and take the recycling easily to the outside bin. I use the smaller section for food waste and the larger for recycling. It has a ten year warranty and came with a few bags for both sections. As expected, excellent quality. You get what you pay for. My last bin was a Curver pedal bin, which cost £40 and the pedal mechanism smashed the bottom of the bin within a year so leakages were going into the mechanism with no way of cleaning it out. This new bin is a luxury but I've justified the expense because of the quality and warranty. We are a family of four and I am not finding it too small. I have found that I am recycling more, being more limited on the space in the food waste section. Yes, I am emptying it more often but I see this as a good thing for cleanliness and hygiene.

stunning bin, unfortunately arrived with a big dent, despite packaged well and NO damage on box. from other reviews experiencing similar issues, could these be seconds!!! and not being declared as such. contacted brabantia but no response. fortunatly the bash on rear corner of bin so not easily seen. none left in stock to replace with !!.

I purchased a heavily discount one sold as used and damaged. There was a slight little dent on the back. I have a small kitchen and small home so both sides can’t be seen anyway; although I’d still have been happy if you could. I really hate the shape of most bins. Tall rounds ones look ugly and can be annoying to lift the liner out of. Not the case with this bin. It’s simple. It’s light to move. I like the height. I like the negative space underneath that creates a feeling of space and makes it easy to clean the floor. It also works well for me to put in front of a recess in my kitchen where I keep a cat litter tray. It hides it; yet the cats can walk under into the tray. I found this bin for just over £70.00 and am really happy with it.

love the color, but it's also functional

This bin is perfect, everyone thinks its a table and just walks right past it. I love that it has x2 containers inside, so I use one side for recycling and other as normal. Looks amazing and is good quality. Once the lid is closed, all odours are contained which is a plus for me.

Love how it looks, love how I can clean under it easily, love how it fits well next to my countertop, but the only thing is, it does hit the top of my countertop when I open the lid. I don’t think I can find a trashcan that I can win in this area so this is the best I can get.The downside about the trash bags is it’s better to buy their brand of trash bags, but I have some heavy duty, 13 gallon trash bags that I already had and I can definitely force it around the edges of the trashcan without ripping it. So it’s not a total loss.

I did not think that a trash can could change my life, but this one has. In a good way! This is a beautifully built trash can that arrived in perfect nick - I love that I can vaccuum under it with ease, and it fits right in a little disused corner of my kitchen. The footprint of the trashcan is the TRUE FOOTPRINT of it, because the lid opens without disturbing the wall behind it. The lid is very easy to operate, and I love that you can easily lift it off to clean it or remove the bags. Assembly was easy and perfect the first time. I've used the bags that came as a sample with the product, and I prefer them (they're also compostable), but have a cache of 13 gallon bags from a certain popular trash bag maker whose name is synonymous with "happy". Those fit fine, too. I'll note that I had a larger (13 gallon) single trash can before this, with a step pedal. I thought I'd miss the larger capacity and pedal opening, but I do not. It's worth the smaller trash load and beautiful new design of this model to empty the garbage more often. For a family of 2, we empty it about twice a week with normal usage. Overall, so thrilled with this investment. It makes throwing things away and taking out the task a genuinely enjoyable one. (I never thought I'd type that sentence, but it's true.)

Hatte den Mülleimer vor einiger Zeit schon mal verschenkt. Da er mir so gut gefallen hat und zudem noch reduziert war, habe ich ihn mir nun auch gekauft, weil ich die Grösse und die Höhe einfach total praktisch finde. Auch wenn ich ihn in meiner Küche eigentlich nicht für Müll benutze , sondern eher wie eine kleine Beistellkiste verwende und andere Sachen darin aufbewahre. 😊

Sicuramente questa pattumiera non è economica ma la consiglio perché è super.Bella esteticamente e molto funzionale.
