Myson Thermocouple

I needed this to keep a very old Myson Apollo boiler operational for a few weeks until an A-rated replacement boiler was fitted. It arrived quickly, was moderately easy to fit for anyone competent with electrical work and functioned as required. I cannot comment on how long it would last as it was only needed for a few weeks.However I would not recommend self-fitting unless you are very, very sure of what you are doing. Electricity and gas are a potentially fatal combination and modern boilers (which don't use thermocouples anyway) should only be serviced by a registered heating engineers.

Not nickel plated. Not genuine 402S2460 but OEM copy.

This is not a genuine Thorn Myson Apollo Thermocouple part number 402S2460. It is not nickel plated (thus not long life). It is a generic 700mm OEM Thermocouple with interruptor and available elsewhere at much less price.
