Simply Wood Premium Wine Barrel Planter - Extra Large PLUS !!! SALE !!!

I had recently purchased the slightly smaller version of this planter from Garden 2 Home and had been so impressed with the quality and service that I ordered two more, one the same size as before and this larger one. They arrived within two days of ordering using the standard delivery option and yet again I am so pleased with this product. I have already had a few people comment on how nice the planter looks, and I must say that now with the three placed together, they really set a corner of a patio off brilliantly. I am now looking forward to the growing season. I have to commend Garden 2 Home for an absolutely fantastic service.

I bought these 2 half barrel to replace the existing one which was rotting away. They were there when we bought the house 15 years ago covering the 2 manhole in the back garden. The new half barrel sit nicely on these manholes covering them. My wife who is a keen gardener has already planted 3 blueberry shrubs in one and hydrangea in the other. Both look nice. As described in the item holes were already made in the bottom of the barrel, and we did not have to drill ourselves. Compared to small barrels this was a good buy and value for money. Would recommend to anyone who need large half barrel.

It looks ok, but it's not as big as the measurements suggested. Nowhere near as sturdy as a proper barrel - which this clearly is not; it is just a wooden planter. Not properly weather-proofed on arrival, either. If I hadn't been desperate to transplant a young tree that was dying through being pot-bound, I would have sent this product straight back. I have since paid a lot less for half of an actual whisky barrel to put my young tree in and have put something smaller and lighter in this one. Very disappointing.

I had been looking for a wine barrel planter for some time,most of poor quality and expensive in the garden centres.Having looked extensively on the Internet I found this planter which seemed to fit the bill and at a very good price.Less than 24 hours after I had placed the order it arrived very well packed. I must say that I am delighted with the quality and appearance,it has drainage holes in the base.I am really looking forward to planting it up when Spring arrives.I would certainly recommend Simply Wood and will use them again.

This wine barrel planter is excellent value and well made - just what I needed to plant a climbing rose next to my house wall as not possible to plant into soil as the front garden was concrete up to the wall. It was delivered ahead of the predicted date. The only slight negative was that Yodel had needed to repack it as the original cardboard box had broken.I would certainly recommend buying from this company.

Was pleased with size and construction when delivered but one year on I'm not impressed with the bands on the outside where paint covering has peeled away leaving rusting bands exposed

Nice planters bought three. Look good and, hopefully, will last for years. Didn't think much of the packaging they were delivered in though.

Premium Wine Barrel Planter - Extra Large PLUS !!! SALE !!!  Ordered 5 of these the day before yesterday and they were delivered yesterday. Only got around to unwrapping them today since the weather was so bad. We are very, very happy with them, they look wonderful and will be beautiful when filled with plants.
