Not cheap, but high quality!
I make my own mini notebooks (nothing fancy, just print some lines and sew some pages together) and I like A5 size, so I wanted to test this out.In short, I will definitely be buying moreIn long:I'm happy with every aspect, with the only grievance being (maybe) longer drying times than other paper (with the caveat that other paper usually absorbs ink, and feathers, in return for faster drying)Very bleed-through resistant IMO, did five layers on that triangle and only a little spotting. Some ghosting, but its thin paper, and not enough to bother me while I'm writing on the other side.I liked the texture, not that super smooth slick feeling from some coated FP-friendly papers, a little bit of feedback that gives a satisfying experience (to me)I wrote mostly using fountain pen, too many different inks to list, none acted up. Also tried out pencil, some other pen types, and finally alcohol marker. The marker had the most interesting time, which could make for some fun 'non-conventional' drawing - it half layered, but also half mixed... I liked it thoI did run it through the printer, the printing came out fine but the printer did give me grief (any issues could be due to the printer being... ancestral though... just wanted to include this in case. I hope other people can give their printer experiences)Hopefully I didn't forget anything here... happy writing!

Performance depends on the fountain pen ink used.
I have tried many fountain pen friendly papers, and the majority of them work exceedingly well no matter what ink you use with them. (Tomoe River Paper, Yamamoto Bank Note, Rives BFK are three papers I’ve never had any problems with.) so I was disappointed that this Graphilo paper does not do great with certain inks — unfortunately some of my favorites.I tested about six inks and these were the three best examples I could give. None of the inks I tried bled through to the other side of the paper at all, but feathering/spreading was a problem with all except the top example (Pilot Iroshizuku) shown. Even Noodlers Anti-feathering Bulletproof Black ink spread a bit when I wrote slower.Overall, 4 stars; I just have to remember to use Pilot’s Iroshizuku ink with this paper.

Graphilo has what ink craves (no, its not electrolytes)
I own and use a number of different fountain pen friendly papers. Rhodia dot notebooks are my everyday office workhorse, travelers company booklets to sneak in my pen case, Tomoe loose sheets bound with the office hole punch, etc. etc.Take what you have experienced or learned about Tomoe's incredible shading/sheening properties, and then set the bar even a bit higher than that. The only drawback I can admit is a very slow drying time, but that can be tolerated for the magic Graphilo possesses.

Best Fountain Pen Paper
Graphilo takes the crown in sheen and shading! It performs even better than Tomoe River 52gsm, and I like that it’s thicker too. Graphilo is not as smooth as Clairefontaine, but I actually like the bit of feedback and character it gives with some pens (also some of my pens skip on Clairefontaine). Graphilo’s negatives are the drying time, the price, and no pure white version is available. If you want a brighter white option, get Clairefontaine Triomphe, Cosmo Air Snow, or Life L. Writing Paper. If you want lined or dot grid, get Tsubame Note (this is my 2nd favorite paper). Maruman Septcouleur and Itoya Profolio Oasis are great notebooks as well.Sakai Iroful, B7, and Cosmo Air Snow feel super smooth, but they make your lines thicker. They can also make your writing feel "sticky" when writing with round nibs. However, these papers are great with stub nibs. The papers I listed above are the very best in my opinion, and each have their own strengths and weaknesses. Graphilio I think is the best all around. Then you also have papers that are pretty good, but they don’t match the sheen or shading performance of the papers listed above. However, you may like them even better if you prefer faster drying times over pretty ink! Here are a few runners up: Midori MD, Life Bank Paper, Tomoe River 68gsm, and Rhodia.
