**UPDATE** - I loved this belt so much that I bought another oneBefore you put this on, learn how to undo it... ask me how I know.This belt could have been a gift. The way it comes boxed, the instructions included (on even how to unlock the belt - which I skipped like a fool) the quality that went into making it, the marks that help you size your belt correctly, and the protective packaging are all intentional and meticulous. It's made like someone was honoring an elder when creating it. The makers care and it shows.There was a kind of odd smell to it, but it off gasses after while and I assume it's glue or something that hasn't had time to air out.This was my first belt of its kind, and not having to adjust or still pull my pants up throughout the day was an absolute first. I went the whole 14 hour workday with my pants in place for the first time ever.The construction is sturdy, and it's like wearing a well-engineered machine more than it is a belt, and I'll be buying more.

Love the ability to make the belt any size. Great quality for the price. The belt does go off at airports though. I love the belt and bought both black and brown ones.

These ratchet belts work very well. They make slight adjustments so easy.However, they do have one major weakness. If you need to pull them really tight, the clamping pins that hold the belt to the buckle tend to eventually let loose. This has happened to me several time now. (Thank goodness it always happened at home!) I tried cutting off the end of the belt and reinserting it into the clamping mechanism. It worked ... for a while. Then repeat the fix. You can only do this so many times before you've shortened the belt to where it will no longer ratchet. I have now tried a new fix. As I prepare to insert the belt into the buckle, I add a little bit of super glue. I'm hoping it will work.

I've never liked standard belt buckles, so I was intrigued by the ratchet closure on this belt. I'm completely happy with the buckle and the rest of the belt. I wear it with jeans and slacks; it looks great with both. Belt sizes are hard to be certain of when you can't try thhem, so I appreciated that this one came large, allowing me to cut it to suit me.

I love this belt!!!! Its very stylish and comfortable. I recommend buying it large because you can always adjust it smaller.

Best belt I have ever had.No need to adjust it fits any size. There is no house to slip in the belt Loop. It tightens up on its own perfect for the way I like my belts.
