Very cool looking item. Like an air turret !
I bought this during the hottest days this summer because the air conditioning in my house for some reason does not enter the basement. The basement is finished and is a giant circle around the center stack upstairs that goes up. So One would think the AC would just flow down the stairs. It may but it needed some help so I bought one of them and put it at the top of the stairs. It’s very unique looking, and it sucks air in from both sides and the air shoots out of the front and is something that you can aim by rotating it. You can aim it Just about 360° from where it’s facing so it shoots air out parallel to its legs it’s very easy to direct where you want there to go and it moves it very efficiently. It’s very well-made as Vornado does make good products and it is very powerful especially on high. I thought it would be bigger so I was happy with how big it is. It doesn’t take up much space at all. It moves a large quantity of air. Right after I got this one set up I bought another one for downstairs, so I aimed the one unit on the top directly down the stairs at the unit on the bottom which I had aimed to the right and that shot the air and made it move all around the basement Cooling off by 15°. I’ve had other fans that cost at least twice as much that way noisier and don’t do the job. It’s priced very competitively, and it is leagues above the competition. I’ve heard people complain that it’s noisy when you put it on high. It sounds like it’s on high. If somebody’s going to move air because that’s what you needed to do and you have to put it on high. Are you going to be worried about the obvious increase in velocity to your ears? Or are you going to be happy with the fact that it’s cooling off or relocating air that you need relocated? The noise level is perfect. It’s what you expect. It’s not quiet. It’s not loud. It’s what it sounds like if you put a powerful fan on high, but it’s not something that rattles and it’s not obnoxious. It’s also I bought a third one and a vice grip the legs to the joists in the ceiling and I can aim that like crazy. It looks like something from Star Wars when it’s hanging from the ceiling very cool item very cool. Everybody asked me where I got it. Has a cool little shifter on the side and that’s how you select what power you want to be in or what gear. Very happy with it.

Nice form factor and well built
This is one very well built fan. I like the form factor. It’s thinner than most fans of this type but still puts out a lot of air. I’m using it to move the air from my air conditioned room to one that has non and it works fine for me.The fan has the ability to adjust up or down and even turn completely over in the stand and the airflow is directed very nicely in a fairly narrow stream which works very well for me. It’s a little heavy but that just goes to the build quality. It meets my needs perfectly.

Small but mighty.
I was skeptical with how small this air mover is. After using it in the shop/barn, I’m sold. This thing works for pushing air right where you need it. So when I’m under the mower or the car/truck this is my new go to. Still like the Vornado 293 for the horse stalls and large areas. If you want something to direct a blast of air while you’re underneath something, this is the one. The rotation of the fan helps it hug the ground and move the air right where I need it.

Add to cart NOW!! And beat the impending summer heat!
Amazing!! This is even better than I had hoped. I needed a high powered fan/blower to circulate the air flow in our travel trailer with the impending summer heat. I was very hopeful when I came across this one and to my pleasant surprise it surpassed any other fan/blower I’ve ever had. This high powered fan/blower not only circulates the cool air blowing in from the small trailer vents but I love that I can turn the blower in a near 300 degree angle and that it fits in a small space without taking too much room - because as you know there isn’t a lot of extra space in ac travel trailer. I currently have this in my living room and turn the angle of the fan to either circulate within the room or point it towards the kitchen if I plan to be in that space more. Definitely considering buying a second one for the bedroom. Believe me — You. NEED. This.

Style Over Substance (It's A Fan But I'm Not A Huge Fan)
I waited for a couple of weeks before I wrote this review. I find reviews I write as soon as I buy an item are either too negative or too positive, so I wanted to "live" with this fan awhile to give it a fair chance.I bought this fan partly for its looks. I have Lasko fans in my house but they're nowhere near as stylish as this one. I'm also a native Kansan and Vornado is a Kansas company, so I wanted to support the home team!On a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best:Aesthetics: 5. This fan is beautiful. Wish it came in more colors.Design: 4. Tilt function works great in directing and concentrating the air flow, controls are easy to find and use, fan is lightweight enough to move around easily but has a very stable base. Doesn't have any outlets the way Lasko blower fans do so you can't plug anything else into this (deducted 1 point for that).Power: 2. I set the fan on "1" (lowest setting) and it barely stirred the air. I set it to "3" (highest setting) and am very unimpressed with how it moves air.Durability: 4. Based on other Vornado fans I've owned, I expect this to have a long operational lifespan.Overall rating: 3 out of 5.Would I buy this model again? Honestly, no. Its positives don't compensate for the ultimate negative: for over $100 with tax, this fan just doesn't move the volume of air it should. I won't be returning it because it's a quality item and does have a lot of positive aspects, plus it looks cool (pardon the pun) in my living room. If you're looking for a shop fan, try a Lasko blower model that has two outlets on the side and tilt directional air flow. Not as pretty but those are workhorses, will last even longer than the Vornado, and really blasts the air. I had some water in my basement and I used my Lasko blower fans to dry it, not this Vornado.
