This Tommy Bahama beach chair is lighter than I expected. It's a bit bulky when you wear it, but it's not uncomfortable on your back. Unfolds and folds up easily and is low to the ground. If you have issues getting up from low positions, this would not be the best chair for you. Holds a 32oz water bottle in the side pouch easily as well. I have not tried the other positions this chair can fold out to, but the one it was set in in my photo was comfortable for me to sit in my yard.

We purchased two. Poor structure for backpack straps. Breaks easily. And chairs recline break and fall back easily. Way to much money for this ooor quality. Always provide good reviews when deserved. Waste of $72.00 each

This is a wonderful chair to take to the beach or any outdoor event this summer. It folds up easily and the forth picture above show the clip that holds it in place so it won't open when transporting it. It is well made and seems very durable. It is also very comfortable. The head rest cushion is adjustable so that makes it fit anyone who used this chair.The pockets are perfectly placed and keep some items from getting sand on them while at the beach. The pockets are also nice for privacy. There is a big pocket on the back that is roomy enough for towels or even a blanket. It does have straps that would let you carry it on your back which is a good feature for someone who has their hands already full of stuff.I plan on using this a lot this summer for the outdoor concerts we like to go to. Chairs that do not have as many features sell for the same or more. This is a great value; highly recommend!

Yes, a Tommy Bahama chair is a pricey item, but a quick scan of nice beach chairs on Amazon shows a lot of chairs at around the price of this one. This chair is easy to carry, either by the handle or the pack straps, it has a fairly large backpack storage area, for snacks, book, keys and a light towel. It has a head rest, four different lounge settings, and a storage back on the side for phone, keys, beverage holder. It's an all-around quality chair with a recognizable brand name. (If the owner of this chair doesn't like brand names prominently displayed, this won't be the right chair for them.) The arm rests are comfortable and I found they made sitting down and then standing up out of the chair a little easier. Stitching is good and color is deep and pretty. Quality chair all around.

I ordered this ‘Tommy Bahama 4-Position Backpack Pillow and Cup Holder Beach Chair’ to keep in our motorhome when we take trips to the beach. We already have one Tommy Bahama beach chair which we are happy with, so I figured this one would be a good addition.This ‘Tommy Bahama 4-Position Backpack Pillow and Cup Holder Beach Chair’ is a well constructed chair. It’s very lightweight, but the aluminum rails and the mechanisms seem durable. I lime how big the arm rests are. It’s hard to find a beach chair with larger arm rests like that.This chair is easy to open….you just unhook the buckle strap and pull it open. Closing the chair, though, can be a bit challenging. The arms have to be in just the right position for it to close. It takes some practice to get it to work.I also like the integrated pouches on the chair. They’re a good size and will quite a bit. And they do not impede closing the chair even when they are relatively full.This ‘Tommy Bahama 4-Position Backpack Pillow and Cup Holder Beach Chair’ is pretty comfortable. it’s wider than most of the beach chairs out there, so it’s easier to get in and out of. And the fact you can adjust the position of the back is nice.I do have two issues with this ‘Tommy Bahama 4-Position Backpack Pillow and Cup Holder Beach Chair’ however. Firstly, the back is not high enough for me to be comfortable. I really can’t comfortably lean back in the chair as my head hangs over. I’m tall, so that’s probably the issue.And sec, I think this ‘Tommy Bahama 4-Position Backpack Pillow and Cup Holder Beach Chair’ is way overpriced for what you’re getting here. It’s a nice chair but not nice enough to justify the price. It’s a perfect example of ‘paying for the name’.All in all, this ‘Tommy Bahama 4-Position Backpack Pillow and Cup Holder Beach Chair’ is a decent option for a beach chair….if you’re willing to fork over the $$$. It’s well made…stores very compact…is easy to carry….and is relatively comfortable.
