Excellent value product to aerate you red wine and sometimes to remove sediment or even disintegrating cork from you wine. Very functional.

The matt finished funnel fits easily into a decanter neck (or wine bottle) so can be used for transferring wine without spillage. The fine mesh filter fits into the top of funnel for with special wines which mayhave some sediment which needs removing.The stem of the funnel is blanked off so the wine has to flow out through small around the side of the stem. This aerated the wine and improves the flavour.An ingenious device which is easily cleaned under running water

Fits in the wine decanter, or can be used straight into the glass. Very happy with it, highly recommended for any red wine drinker.

Bought as a present for a friend who had used mine. Filter may be improved by mesh being a tad finer but all in all a useful item PS. I don't give 5* as I heven't discovered perfection yet.

The product is excellent and the mesh collects all but the finest of impurities. Aeration is good and i find it easy to use and clean. It comes with a 1 year warranty as well. I also have to commend the seller for his very polite message and willingness to deal with any customer issue. He made me feel valued as a customer.

Precisely what I was looking for, at a very good price. I have held a few old bottles of tawny port and madeira for a good few years. I had opened one a year or so ago and carefully decanted it, but the mesh sieve I used was a little too coarse and let an annoying number of larger sediment pieces through. Upon receiving this item I have decanted another bottle and the fine mesh has removed all visible sediment fragments. Some micro sediment remained, but this settled out very quickly, meaning my port looks as good as it tastes. One day, I’ll be brave enough to decant the oldest of my stock .... but it’ll need to be a special occasion.

Great addition to wine decanting. Well made and easy to clean. Tried two matching bottles of good French Bordeaux, one decanted through this funnel and one left open to 'breath'. An hour after opening/decanting the decanted bottle was by far the better; the other one didn't go to waste though!
