Solid and Reliable Drive for My Synology NAS
I paired this Toshiba N300 10TB drive with my Synology NAS, and it’s been running smoothly ever since. Setup was easy, and the drive has been reliable with no issues so far. It’s designed for 24/7 NAS use, and I can see why—it’s quiet, efficient, and delivers great performance. Definitely a good value for reliable long-term storage.

Super reliable and very fast for a HDD
Toshiba is easily one of the best brands for HDDs so I got this to put into my UGREEN DXP6800 Pro. Showed up immediately (I'd hope so), created my RAID pool, and I was ready to go. Pretty competitive price wise and the fact it is faster than my other HGST drives is a huge plus, even if I can't take advantage of it until I get more of them.I've also got a Toshiba X300 that's 4 years old which is what drove me to get this one for my NAS. If Toshiba drives keep holding up so well, I'll keep buying them. Very reliable.

Huge and awesome....that's what she said.
Purchased this for Plex server backup. Turned out I didn't need it this big, but i have room for more data in the future. Used with SABRENT USB-C Lay Flat Docking Station – NVMe M.2 + SATA 2.5”/3.5” SSD/HDD Enclosure, Worked flawlessly, 9tb data in 20 hrs.

So Far so good
I got Toshiba N300 6TB NAS 3.5 from Amazon. Fast delivery. HDD worked out of the box. CristalDiskInfo shown Zero Power On hours (means brand new). This HDD is quiet and fast enough. I transferred about 40GB of videos and photos, no loses so far. Disk works as intended with Temperature of 23C in my medium Tower along with other Toshiba HDD and Samsung EVO SDD. Zero bad sectors so far. Transfer speed is good also. If , God forbid, it will start acting I'll change my review. But so far so good.

No Warranty, High failure rate.
NO WARRANTY! NO WARRANTY! NO WARRANTY!Unbelievable, Sold by Amazon.com and no warranty. Toshiba shows the serial number as an OEM drive without warranty.Drive started failing after a couple weeks but was recoverable. Total failure now at 6 months of moderate use.Absolute garbage, couldn't be more annoyed with Amazon and Toshiba.

Be Sure to Use a Quality Enclosure for this Relatively Pricey Drive
Worked well out of the box and seems moderately fast (using a MacMini M4 and 8T SSD). It is amazing how even 20T is sometimes not enough for personal use (too many photos and videos). It is not silent during read/write, but the clicking sound is not disturbing and relatively subdued. It might be picked up, however, if recording audio when in use. Be sure to use a sufficiently powered and cooled enclosure (especially given the relative cost differentials).

Love these drives
I've been using these drives for 8 years now with no failures and solid performance. I have 9 of them now which I've built into 4 different DIY NAS systems starting with Xpenology, then FreeNAS and recently rebuilt them into two new DIY TrueNAS systems.
