I used these to run cables in and out of storage bins on my truck. They hold the cables firmly, no slipping. Zero leaks in the driving rain. Being stainless steel I have no concerns about rust and much sturdier than nylon. Will definitely buy again if needed.

It is as described. Needed to pass a battery cable through thick sheetmetal. Didn't like the basic rubber grommets for the job (too much vibration, work truck). Wanted the simplicity of a pass through and not a terminated bulkhead fitting. This does the job. Secure, sealed (what splash it has seen anyway). Does exactly what is needed.

They have a washer on the Nut side, and a seal ring on the cable side. This is how to protect cables from Water/Dirt ingress. These are 1/2" NPT threads so they will fit most electrical boxes I use. They are well made and the threads are tight fitting. Although stainless steel is more expensive than PVC, these make for a stronger and more durable cable connection. I am glad I have these for the wiring in my Outbuildings.

Nice quality cable glands. You can tell these are high quality just from the machining of the threads and finish.
