How should I stop the humming/buzzing noise?

In order of importance: 1) Use high quality balanced TRS cables from the outs to your monitors. 2) Use good quality monitors which are self-powered each. 3) Isolate I/O using a good quality DI-Box such as the ubiquitous green Radial ProD2 with all balanced TRS connections. 4) Enable ground loop lift option on the DI-Box. 5) Use a high quality USB cable which is shielded. 6) Use a high quality Power source for your DAW workstation. Something with gold+ or Platinum rails should do. 7) Use an add-in USB PCI-E card rather than built in USB on the motherboard. 8) Nuclear option would be a power conditioner where all studio related electronics (computer, interface, amp etc.) are plugged into. You can also mess around with shielded computer cases I guess. Never heard of anyone doing that though. And stop using wifi if possible. Also turn off your phone or keep it nowhere near your setup. What you are hearing when you hear buzz/hum is radio interference from 50hz/60hz power such as the power supplies, as well as radiometric interference form things like cell phones and even radio stations. But most of it is from local mains power. If your power is exceptionally noisy and the interface is very unshielded then there is not a hwole lot you can do other than get a better interface and a power conditioner.

can i use the two inputs at the same time? i had the cheaper level model of this and it wouldn't let me

Yes you can. While you don't state what cheaper model you are referring to, some only have a single input channel. This unit has 2 input channels and 4 output channels. The 2 input channels can definitely be used at the same time, and by default they will map to a stereo pair of Channel 1 Left and Channel 2 Right. You can map them as you choose in your DAW if that isn't what you want.

Does this come with software?

The package does not have any software with it. You need to go to this address to download drivers for Windows: https://www.music-group.com/brand/c/Behringer/downloadsand pick "Computer Audio" category, then "Audio Interfaces" sub-category, then Product "IMC204HD" These are just the drivers so Windows can use the interface. Once these are installed, the Behringer shows up as an audio playback and record device. Pretty much any software will work with it then. I use Audacity and Reaper. You can use the same address above, but select "UMC202HD" and download the apps for Windows, which includes Audacity and Podcast. And other folders with effects and such.. Register your product at this page: http://www.music-group.com/brand/behringer/support/product-registration Then you should receive an email with your registration code which you're supposed to be able to go to Tracktion.com and receive a full version of Tracktion for free. I haven't completed this step, but did track down the web pages. Lots of hoops, I'm afraid, as it looks like all the listed website addresses are out of date. These work. I like the unit and it really cleaned up my churches web stream.

Will it work with OS X 10.11.3?

Working fine for me on OS X 10.11.3. No issues that I've encountered, just straight plug & play.

HD quality sound

It is among the best audio interface in the msrket. Sound quality is crisp and without noise as well as preamp is also of good quality. 5 pin midi in/out is another positive factor for external midi device. Insert and A B monitors are plus points. Above all the mono and stereo button works well.It would have been better if it had a digital signal display.

Quality is really good, we are paying 2500Inr more than the MRP of the product.

Quality is ok but we are paying exactly double the money which is sold in other countries, it sis sold for $80 in every pther countries, or max 6000INR, but its sold in India fro 10000 INR, that is really high, almost 50% of the price/ Its Mrp is $119 or 7666Inr, but we are paying 10000 here, more than the MRP, this is the condition of India right now. Doesn't have enough gain output to power Shure SM57/58/7B, needs a preamp. But it has low self noise, great build and features.
