Absolutely get these if you have a Pixel 9 Pro XL
I think the last time I got tempered glass screen protectors was about 5 years/ 4 phones ago. I'm not prone to dropping phones, and the times I have dropped them, there were never any screen breakages. Plus, they were always a huge production to apply.I got these protectors because it looks like the installation technology has advanced - a LOT - since then. There's a hard plastic frame holding the glass that fits right over the phone. There is some adhesive stuff to remove (first on the part that goes onto the phone, then the part you rub for the backing). There are all kinds of extra accessories: Wet screen wipes, adhesive dust removal stickers, a foam squeegee (my past experience had next to useless hard plastic squegees). I supplied my own latex food handling gloves, just to make the whole experience feel almost surgical in nature (Nurse, sponge) and to keep my fingerprints off of anything (for aesthetics, there were no crimes being committed).I read the instructions for the novelty of it, but the whole system is so intuitive that you really shouldn't need to read them. Everything was completely in line with my expectations of what would need to be done.I'm not sure how (and this has to be completely on me), but despite my careful gloving, wipedown, application, rubbing the back and peeling, and lifting the frame, the first protector had bubbles with minute spots in the middle that the squeegee couldn't get rid of. The second one, I made sure I did the whole thing with a fan blowing gently over the work area. That one installed with no issue.Overall, installation was way, way easier than what I was used to.The main reason I recommend this to any Pixel 9 Pro XL user, whether prone to dropping screens or not, is the oleophobic quality. I've managed to get fingerprints on the glass. But a quick wipe on my sleeve, or my hip, and it's like I've never touched the screen. Prior phones (a couple of them Pixels), it was basically a chore clearing off fingerprints/ finger marks. That alone makes this worth it.I am not willing to drop my phone face down from any height to test its protection. However, for the sake of all of you, I used a sharp edge of a key along the very bottom and very top edges, pressing hard, to see if I could scratch the glass (I won't risk cracking the phone screen, but I'm fully willing to buy another set of screen protectors). The sharp key point skated around with no scratch-making sound. The glass had no scratches. So then, I used a box cutter. I dug the point in, hard, and went from side to side (as though I was opening a package), and a bit up and down (basically moving the point 'sideways' in relation). This time, I heard and felt vibration, as though scratches were being made.Nothing. Nothing to a finger rubbed over the area, nothing when I held the phone up to the light at an angle that would show scratches. As for touch sensitivity, I have never had a problem with it recognizing my thumbprint. Perhaps it's because I followed the often-repeated advice throughout the packaging, and took multiple thumbprints of the same angle (which I always have done anyway). But I added some index finger presses, like 2, and it reads my index finger just fine as well.I honestly don't see any downside to getting this kit. For me at least, the supidly easy to clean screen makes it completely worth it.

Works Great! Easy Install!
Beautiful! If you follow the directions and are doing this in a clean room in the house, it is easy to get a perfect fit with no bubbles or dust. Really clever how the whole thing works to keep the phone aligned while getting it on.The glass is crystal clear. I have a Poetic case and was using the built-in plastic screen protector, but even though my phone is in a pocket itself, it still ends up scratched with any form of dust on your fingers, and overtime, it's difficult to read. Switching from a year-old plastic cover to this ... I was amazed at how much clearer and crisper the screen is, and colors look like they pass through as-is.Also, this resolved the fingerprint issues my wife was having on the Poetic screen protector. We ended up using the frame that does not have the screen protector for the Poetic, and this screen protector does not interfere with it at all.

Protect your screen!
This screen protector kit comes with everything you need to easily apply protection to your Pixel 9. You should always have your screen protected with a tempered glass screen protector, and this includes 2 for added peace of mind.My Pixel 9 was brand new in the box and I didn’t even use it before putting this on. So I didn’t even need to really clean any dust or smudges even though this has everything you need to make it spotless. The includes tool made it easy and effortless. I watched a video first and applied this screen protector within minutes! It fits perfectly without any bubbles but this could always vary depending on how you do it. The touch screen seems to work perfectly fine without sensitivity issues. And I used Spigen’s case to ensure an exact fit as I also prefer the cases to be slim, this case no problems with that case but should be fine with basically any case.I would definitely recommend this to anyone who has a new Pixel 9. Sometimes people complain about how screen protectors broke in 1 drop. No! It did its job and potentially saved you hundreds of dollars on a repair or replacement. It seems durable and high quality as well, it doesn’t seem like one is there. 10/10
