Q: The description says this works with standard couplers, but later says large couplers. Can it be used with both?

I did not use a coupler at all. I just put it at the bottom of a disposable pastry bag and cut a hole that would allow the tip to emerge. Everything worked well.

Q: Is this too big for filling eclairs?

I bought it to make macaroons. I think it is too big for filling eclairs.

Q: What else do I need to buy to attach it to a piping bag?

You do not need to buy a coupler for any tip. All you need to do is cut a hole in the piping bag just large enough to not obstruct the opening of the tip and pop the tip in! Fill with icing and you are ready to decorate!

Good icing tip
