Brilliant chair! Worth every penny.
Brilliant chair. Really comfortable and appears well made and durable. I'm a big bloke and I find it spacious and solid. Legs and mud feet allow levelling on slopes. The chair can be set quite low, so you could use it in a tent height of say 130cm and still sit up straight. It goes the other way too. So if you are very tall you don't have to have your knees under your chin. It also reclines pretty much flat if you want. It's the most comfortable chair I have. Smart looking too but quite heavy (a necessary trade off for the toughness of the design I feel and probably no heavier than other carp chairs). Would definitely buy again but I think this will last for many years. FYI I'm not into fishing yet, so I can't tell you if it suits them in terms of portability (it does fold flat). However I wouldn't mind spending a night in it, it's that comfortable. Oh, one other thing. Super fast delivery.

Comfort and adjustable legs
It a bit early to say how the seat will hold up but it looks very sturdy. I am a bit guy so the heavy rating was a plus in my purchase as I knew it would hold my 19.5 stone. It is comfortable although I have only used it in the house, it arrived yesterday. I will use it mainly for to purchases. It will sit in my workshop so I can take rests or do Google research. I use my workshop like a man cave too so some nights I will use it to just sit, watch videos on woodwork, blacksmithing etc and drink a few beers. So the wee try on the side, that will get lots of use with me. It will also be used on many canoe camping trips and BBqs. The service was good and quick. My old seat broke after many many years of service so I wanted a seat quickly so it was 4-5 days. The tray fits on the right side as you sit on the seat and is very quick and easy to remove/put on. Support seem good so far and it is a good wide seat. It has a movable head rest which I find best when I recline the chair. Weight: Fine. Some review say it is heavy. It not as light as my old one but how far are you going to carry this? It is fine, I don't see any issue with weight. So the big question, would I recommend this chair? Based on my limited use, I would 100%. It is built to last. One last point. Lots of chairs for the camp fire or BBq when you sit in them the iron legs cut up into the back of your leg making them very uncomfortable. Not this bad boy. Go on, treat yourself, your worth it!!!!

Great but tray on wrong side
My wife bought me this fishing seat as a present. The seat itself is wonderful. I am very disappointed that the tray is on the opposite side of the chair in the picture. That was the main reason my wife bought this model.A pity the tray brackets are not fitted both sides of the seat. Otherwise I can only recommend it for its comfort and steadiness.

Great chair, great Fishtec customer support
The chair arrived with a broken plastic chair arm. Fishtec on being informed displayed great customer support and replaced it by the next day. The chair is a large, sturdy and comfortable. It is therefore on the heavy side to lug around, a minor issue for me as the comfort is worth it on long fishing sessions. If you are tall and/or large you will probably like this chair as the legs extend generously to negate feeling your knees are touching your ears. The reclining feature is great. On the minus side and they minor is it would have been better if the side tray had the option of fitting on either side of the chair and that the chair back were taller as at 6’ 3” the chair back does not support my neck and head unless I slouch or recline the chair (most Lounge arm chairs and settees are the same for me).

From grandad norm
Wanted a chair that "fitted my needs" - being arthritic and bionic hips, I needed height to sit comfortly and to raise from = I now have it at 18" (there is more if I should need it. Next was space = I have in abundance - no pressure from " a tight fit". Stability was essential = this is as solid as they come on every way. The table whilst I agree would be nice on the left, when fitted to the chair it mekes the structure solid as a rock.sorry I cannot fault it - purrrrrrrrr - fect. (I. Apologise to the other sellers whose chairs I returned over the past weeks. Whilst they were satisfactory in some ways, they did not fit all my disability needs.) I now look forward to many comfortable hours on the bank.

Very sturdy
Very good chair, strong and useful. Currently using as an office chair through Covid, works very well, height is perfect and feels very solid. Also used for camping, this is my 2nd purchase, original is 10 years old and still going strong, but wife wants one now!
