1000% worth the cost ð°ðļ
OH. MY. GOD. ðĪĐðĨģI have found the holy grail of e-reading. I upgraded by trading in my 10th gen paperwhite. When I received this bad boy (named $crim the Scribe lol), setup was a breeze bc I linked my amazon account to the purchase. I've had it for a week now and it's life changing in the best way ð **yes I'm aware you can see my folders & titles of my notebooks, idc lol**I have wanted to journal my whole life but never could stick with the hobby. I have been a journaling FIEND with this piece of technology. I've already made 13 notebooks, with all different kinds of layouts. The planner layout, checklist layout, & a regular notebook paper layout. I have 3 different journals and checklists out the WAZOO. I love writing on it, and I think my handwriting is so much prettier on it vs on actual paper ð I don't have any issues with the premium pen, but this is the first time I've used a pen like this lol. The eraser on the end is a little loose, but not to the point that it bothers me.The Kindle itself is super high quality **remember this review is coming from a previous 2018 paperwhite owner lol** It's not as durable as my paperwhite was that's for sure. I love that the button to wake it up is on the side because I put my thumb under the bottom sometimes to hold it while I'm reading. The screen is HUGE and my blind self loves that ðĪĢ I didn't realize the pen is magnetic and sticks to the side, I was like a cavewoman discovering fire when I found that feature lmaooo.Response time is lightyears faster than my paperwhite, and having 64GB of memory is a dream compared to the 8GB I had. The battery life is impressive, I have mine set to sleep after 5 minutes of inactivity. I don't let my devices get too low on charge so I don't know how many days it lasts with a LOT of writing in notebooks & reading. You're able to send documents to your kindle as well, and then write on them! It's super easy too. One of my notes from my iPhone took a while to transfer, but it still did it so no complaints here! You can customize a little more with this than on the paperwhite. The jade color is BEAUTIFUL, plus my constellation case is so CUTE & perfect for an astrology girlie like me ð It works like a dream with smooth & swift transitioning. It's condensed my planner, journal, & e-reader to ONE physical item. I won't have to spend money on yearly journals or continuously buy new journals saying "I'll start journaling now, this is the one." Of course manufacturing the item creates waste, but I like to think I'm helping the environment a little bit by not buying those physical items anymore ðâĻI know the price is pricey (at least to me it is lmfao), but if you love reading, love to journal or want to get into the habit of journaling, BUY A KINDLE SCRIBE!!!!!! This was a purchase I know was worth it as soon as I got to play around with it âĻ

Way more than what I expected, A-M-A-Z-I-N-G
The media could not be loaded. I wanted to change my iPad Paperwhite, which is already a few years old, and I didn't even know about the existence of this Kindle Scribe. I ordered it as a "let's see what it does," and I was beyond surprised when I started testing it, I gotta say.I focused mostly on the "Notebooks" function, so I'm uploading some videos about it, but I also tried Kindle ebooks and PDFs. You need to know that there is a lot of improvement from previous versions in terms of highlighting, sticky notes, and even creating/adding spaces to add handwriting text (canvas). I opened a few of my old books, and it feels really good to read in a bigger display with more options to zoom in and out. Now, the notebook function. Kinda mindblowing. I have a Galaxy phone with the S-pen, and I've tried the iPencil on iPad devices, and they differ in many things, but this thing feels as solid and functional as you can think (or expect) from a Kindle device. But even so, performance is top. The response time for writing is incredible, and how precise it is gives you the sensation of actually writing. You have different options for Pen tip (pen, highlighter, marker, pencil) and sizes for each one of them, and the eraser. You can also select items/parts using a "lasso" to erase, copy/paste them in another part, and even move them before you select their final position. I think this was the most impressive thing I found in this device. The screen remains the "paper look and feel" of its predecessors, but I can see a better resolution from the one that I have, with relatively small glare and great font definition. This thing is also way bigger, not as light as the smaller Kindles, but it still feels comfortable. The pen attaches magnetically to the side of the Kindle, and I'm thankful they already added a USB-C charging port.My only design concern is the position of the Power button, as it is located where you handle it; I touched it by accident and sent the Kindle to sleep. Hopefully, this is not a big issue in the future.I still have to test the battery life of this one, considering the size of the screens and the pen functions, but I'm positive it will be weeks-lasting, as the regular Kindles.Great job with this device, Amazon.
