Do you put this in an empty tank and then add gas?

I had half a tank when I started. I poured in the treatment in and filled the tank. This is a great product.

Will this product work to restore the gasoline in a half full tank suburban tank of varnished gasoline 12-year-old gas?

I would say no...that old of fuel.best to drain and flush tank. Lucas has a fuel injection clean that does.butt I caution burning 12 yr old fuel.

I have a 2021 mustang & I'm using 89 octane it's new car and ford recomend's octane 93 is this good to use?

It won’t hurt, but is completely unnecessary in a new vehicle. If the car is running properly using 89 octane, putting in 93 is a waste of money and your mpg will go down.

I can use the big whole bottle?

Not for one tank of fuel. That would be a big waste of money. There is instructions on the side of the bottle that tell you how much to add per tank of fuel. And you only need to use this treatment every 10000 miles or so. So one bottle should last a while. Hope this is helpful.
