will it calculate the angle if you are shooting down or above your target

Hello, HX-700N does not calculate the angle. I recommend you to use HX-1200T, he will calculate the angle and horizontal distance for you.--AOFAR

I cant get this to fire up its the second unit it has to be me any help please

Not wishing to insult your intelligence Squady, but make sure the battery hasn't got a clear wrapping on it (like cling film), which would stop it making contact with the terminals (and that it's inserted the right way). The film's so tight and clear, it nearly caught me out, and the instructions are as clear as mud. Getting it to turn off ?.....you're on your own there, lol !

I can’t see how to measure the height of buildings with this. Any guidance?

Thanks for all. This range finder can't measure the height, It will shows the distance between you and buildings. We actually have a mode can measure the height but it just sold on Amazon.com now. Does this come with warranty

I recall that they have a 2 year support policy and the information about that is on line. I don't recall a y mention of an actual guarantee though. I've been using mine for a few weeks now and have found it to be pretty good but I only shoot up to about 50 yards.
