I have shiny, oily skin, so usually avoid lip glosses like the plague. However, I was desperate to find a decent lip stain that didn't cost £18+, so gave this a go.I bought the shade 'Drippin' in Rose', and it is genuinely fantastic! I am a complete convert and about to order some more colours to try.The gloss is actually lovely, smells nice, not sticky - more like a shiny cream finish, and really moisturising. I am a lip balm addict normally, but haven't used any AT ALL since starting to wear this!If applied liberally and left on for a bit, it happily wears/wipes down to a beautiful and very long lasting stain, that touches up really easily if you have eaten and drunk a lot.The second photo is after several hours of eating and drinking normally, and I don't even think the photo does it justice.

Really nice formula. Feels lovely on the lips. The stain looks really good when you first remove but doesn't last very long.Prettier as a lip gloss.

I’m really impressed with this stain! It delivers a bold, opaque colour from the outset, and as it fades (or is wiped away), it leaves a vibrant, purposeful finish that lasts for hours. It’s easy to apply, and the initial glossy finish is smooth and non-sticky. As it wears down, it feels like my natural lips, which is really nice. I like to apply lip balm over the stain once the gloss is wiped off, and it doesn’t seem to impact its staying power. It strikes the perfect balance between striking colour and comfortable wear, making it my go-to for a long-lasting, flawless look. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a statement lip that lasts!

Have Mauve & Moist and Hydra Honey. Fab as a gloss & also when wiped off. I'll alternate between gloss & stain because the stain is more subtle but it does stay for the whole evening. Only need to top up if you want the gloss. If I want the stain for going out, I will leave as a gloss for about 10 minutes as you get a better stain. Much better than the more expensive stains. Will definitely buy more colours.

Why did you choose this product over others?:I chose this as a lip stain because I read a review in which it came out top. It does have an effect, though I find it subtle. I like the applicator: it’s easy to get a good line. As a lip gloss, I like the effect, though personally I have to use a pencil liner with it for definition. My problem is that, despite the liner, this product bleeds and feathers on me (I am an older woman with fine lines around my lips). This, for me, is a major drawback. Maybe it wouldn’t if I blotted it after application, but I wanted that bolder definition. I did find it hydrating rather than sticky. I don’t think I will buy it again.

I dont usually wear lipstick as struggle finding a shade I like and one that doesn't make my lips feel sticky or dry. This is amazing. I put it on and then do the rest of my makeup before wiping it off. It leaves a good colour stain on the lips and it doesn't transfer, my lips feel moisturised and it stays on non matter how many cups of tea I drink. I have just bought some other colours to try.

This colour is actually ass. Stains pretty well but the colour is just bad the applicator is also weird I don’t like it.

Thick and glossy with a high level of pigmentation (eg easy transfer to teeth if you’re not careful!) - like other people, I was a little confused by the branding “serum” when I thought it was supposed to be a “stain” - so not entirely sure what’s happened there, but indeed, the serum IS also the stain. Apply the gloss as per usual (I felt it was a bit of an unnatural beige colour - hence the four stars) and just leave it. Eventually after quite some time, it goes and then you’re left with a very nice stain which is more pinky. I have very very pale lips so this is just what I need. I think I’m going to order a slightly darker colour (I’m warm/pale skin naturally) but I get the impression all of these stains eventually settle to a pinky tone, so be aware of that.
