I don't like charcoal lighter fluid or charcoal that has "easy lite" chemicals in them. These light easily and last long enough to get your coals ready to cook on. Good product!

Does what it says it will do. Put it below your charcoal or below your campfire. It’s manageable without dangerous fluid flame ups. Even a cheap lighter will get it going. Use two pieces and catch one by the corner...don’t worry, it will catch the other one before you can stand back up. Definitely a good buy!

I bought this following the instructional video from Ooni's youtube channel on how to light the Ooni. It wasn't this particular product used, but one just like it.Sure enough, with the single click of your standard candle lighter, these starters catch on real fast. No need to sit there with a blow torch for a few waiting for the pellets to kick on.I have not tested their "waterproof" ability but I will say that in my most recent usage, it was a tad windy and there was no delay getting the fire going with this. It will be apart of my standard items I stock when using my Ooni.

I've used several products before to start up my charcoal, but this one works the best. I use a charcoal chimney starter and simply drop 1 or 2 of these in the bottom to get it all going. They light easily and burn for plenty long enough to get the charcoal lit and stay that way. Certainly a great value for the number than come in the box. Would definitely purchase again.

I bought a package of these a couple of years ago, just to see how they worked. I am so happy that I found these. They make starting a camp fire easy, even when your wood/kindling is moist. Will always keep these on hand for any camping trips.

These fire starters work great for starting charcoal in my chimney for the grill as well as starting wood fires in my smoker. Just light one under the kindling and it will do the rest.I only gave it One Star for taste, because it's just wax and wood shavings without any added artificial flavors, but Amazon asked for a flavor rating (1-5 Stars) and I couldn't give it only 1/2 a Star!Really (see picture)!!!
