If you're purchasing this because you've had a head lice scare in your little's class, DO IT! This was recommended to us by a mom with older children who used this consistently in lower elementary and their kids never caught head lice!We have a child with very sensitive skin and scalp (and long long hair) and I was a little hesitant to purchase something with tea tree oil in it but her hair washed out beautifully, really smooth and easy to manage, and best of all, no reaction after using for days. There were a few cases of head lice / nits in her class but they never spread to her.Smell wise it's quite subtle and fades quite quickly after showering!Other recommendations (as this was our first go around with head lice): Keeping her long hair tied back neatly and out of her face, twice monthly checks with a nit comb to make sure she wasn't carrying anything.

This combo is perfect for keeping your kids' hair healthy, especially those with long hair. It smells fantastic, and it has worked wonders in preventing lice in my three kids!

As my daughter started school, I was looking for ways to prevent head lice. I came across this brand and loved that it has essential oils! It has a stronger smell, but it's not a terrible smell. The shampoo is great with lathering and you only need small amounts for both Shampoo & conditioner. The spray is amazing for detailing and I use it every morning for extra precaution. I think the only real con is how pricy they are for the size of bottles. If they were a little more affordable, it would be 5 stars.

I truly love this product, this manufacturing company is amazing at this. I have been using the leave in condition for 3/4 weeks and just got the shampoo and conditioner, we have been fighting lice since they moved from MO, and within the first week of using the leave in conditioner we have had less issues of these nasty bugs. We shampoo and condition their heads and then spray the leave in conditioner, I braid their hair for school and instead of using water in the mornings I use the leave in conditioner spray and they are already fighting bugs and nits before they ever have an issue. We were having issues getting out nits, and this product helped by unsticking the nit (egg) to beabkr to be pulled out and squished. This product does exactly what it says it can do, and I love that about this manufacture. I would recommend this product to everyone.

I’ve been using the Fairy Tales Rosemary Repel Set on my kids for a couple years now, and it’s become a back-to-school essential in our house. The set comes with shampoo, conditioner, and a spray—all infused with natural ingredients like rosemary, citronella, and tea tree oil.We first bought this when there was a lice outbreak at school and my oldest came home with lice. Please note this will not treat lice. We used a dimethicone treatment to kill the lice, and then started using this set. I haven’t looked back since. Knock on wood, we haven’t had a single issue since our decontamination, even when classmates have had multiple cases.
