Has the company fixed the jar lid issue since early January 2021? By that I mean does the product arrive in a sealed jar?

I ordered a jar July 1st, and my jar was not sealed. I got a refund. It felt unsafe to eat. I wanted to order more. I was really excited about the product, but I will not eat food that comes unsealed. I hope the issue is addressed in the future. I WANT to purchase and use this product... Also, the oil had leaked in the box, but that's because it wasn't sealed.

Does this item have any Chinese 5 Spice flavoring to it or anything sweet like that?

I do detect 5 spice. I would say there is some sweetness but but very little.

Has anyone recently received this product with any shrink wrap or seal? (May 2021)

Yes! I just got the big boy, and it was shrink-wrapped. And delicious.
