Looks well built but did not get to use it. Unfortunately it was too small for the 9” Garmin chartplotter with the quick release bail mount. Exchanged it for the XL mount and works perfect for my screen. Using it in my kayak and the t-bolt works flawlessly in my trak system on the kayak.

It works how it should

This item came fully assembled. The predrilled holes aligned perfectly with the mounting holes on the Humminbird Helix 5, and the installation was straightforward. This mount performed flawlessly on my Native kayak. I was able to align the screen to a comfortable position due to the double-articulated arms, which allowed for fine-tuning. I highly recommend this product.

This type of gear always seems more expensive than it needs to be. But, it's probably more cost effective than a DIY effort. Had some concerns about its ability to articulate sufficiently to keep my Helix 7 out of the way while pedaling my Sportsman 120 PDL. No issues there. Easy to install into the factory gear track and has enough adjustment flexibility to keep it out of the way and easily visible. The lever to release the mounting ball has been finicky and I'm worried that it might break unless it becomes easier to release with added use.

Seems like a quality product, but it doesn’t fit the track system for a Lund Pro V. Needs access to an open end track to slide it into place….I stand corrected. There’s a separate part you can buy. Customer service emailed me immediately which bodes well. Changing it to a 5 and will update when the part shows.Part showed up and popped right in. That was nice, however the way it was spaced in relation to the track, there was way too much wobble and sway no matter how tight it’s screwed in.

I have my Humminbird Helix 7 DI SI attached to this mount and this mount is attached to a YakAttack CellBlok. A large head unit like the Helix 7 can sometimes be intrusive on a cramped kayak, and even more so with the added height of the CellBlok.But the LockNLoad system allows me to quickly and easily set the angle and position of the head unit. If I ever need to remove the mount from the CellBlok that can be done quickly as well.I have bought a number of YakAttack products for my kayak and I have yet to be disappointed.

The screws it comes with are absolute garbage...I'll be going to the hardware store in the morning.

Very well designed well thought out product. Extremely sturdy, will last for decades...i dont have a kayak, using it on my bass boat...put every other mount ive ever had (at least 3) to shame....going right now to buy another
