This comes in standard warehouse packaging, a brown cardboard box and insert. It protects the product well and tells you the contents in detail.So this is a traditional ceramic/glass hob with one ring split into two zones. Basically you get a small inner ring to save energy when you only have a small pot to heat. This is a great way to save energy.It uses touch-controls which some people will be put off by. This set works perfectly but in the past I have had a similar unit which was a bit temperamental in its response. These controls are power on/off, child safety lock, temperature, timer and ring extension.The unit is a standard size and not too deep, and will fit most modern kitchens easily. On full power it is 2.2kW so it won’t max out a standard 13A power socket, but I still recommend not to use it on an adapter of any kind, just straight into the wall.You get a full installation kit which works well and the instructions do the job (although I would assume you know what you are doing if you are trying to install this yourself).There is a 10% off voucher at the moment which takes the price down to £54, which I think is a reasonable price for a well-built unit.

I love this. This can either be inserted into a kitchen worktop or stand alone on top of work top ( which is what I use it for). We are always having family over for meals and this has been a godsend. Its very well built. The hob heats up quickly and evenly, and the extended ring is great for larger pots and pans. The ceramic surface is easy to clean, and the hob is very easy to use. The hob's design and functionality are both impressive. It's solidly built, with a sleek appearance. The full-size hob ring heats up rapidly, and the touch controls are user-friendly and responsive. The available functions include on/off control, heat adjustment, child lock, timer, and an extended heating zone, all of which work exceptionally well.

I've been using the 1 ring version for a few months now, and I'm really happy with it. It's the perfect size for my small apartment kitchen, and it looks great on my countertop. The hob heats up quickly and evenly, and the extended ring is great for larger pots and pans. The ceramic surface is easy to clean, and the hob is very easy to use. I would definitely recommend this hob to anyone looking for a great value for money option.

Everything is included with this to install in a worktop such as clamps and sealing strip. Slim line protruding just below a 35mm worktop when set in. Has a serious cable attached, and easily installed in a 13A socket. Note, when in full power it does take the full 13A.There are no frills with this. The controls are touch sensitive, just on/off. Small/large heat area. 9 heat levels. We usually cook with bottled gas but if that runs out and no spare it if we need extra capacity this fits the bill admirably. Not as controllable as gas but more controllable than old fashioned electric hot plates.The instructions are good, but quite frankly you don't need must tuition, it's so straight forward.Price wise I think it's good. Not much to compare with. There are others at higher prices which offer extras but do you really need them? Maybe a timer? I'm not sure. Looks good with its clean classic lines. So on price its good. Well worth a look if you want a single, good looking, easily installed hob.

This is a great compact hot plate for a single person or a large family that needs an extra Hob or electric alternative / addition to a gas hob..The hob is designed to be flush mounted into a counter top although with caution can be used sat on top of the counter top although thats not how its designed to be used.The hob gets really hot and doesnt pull any punches and can be used in dual ring 2.2 KW max or single ring 1 kw max modes with 9 power levels to choose from.Its really easy to clean and does have child lock security built it although it does stay blazingly hot after use for some time so keep kids away from it regardless .Its a shame it didnt come with a surface mount frame as that would have made it so much more useful as there are prople that need a spare hob but dont want or cant install it into a counter top permanently and thsi would have been ideal for that.

This is such a handy thing to have. We currently have a gas hob and are using this as a stand alone even though it is intended to be fitted into a work surface. We simply plug this in and instantly have another ring which is useful when cooking a big sunday dinner. The hob has 9 heating levels and I love the fact it is easy to control the heat pending what you are cooking. The heat isn't as instant as gas and I do find a pan of water takes much longer to boil but this isn't really an issue. Cleaning is easy peasy as a simple wipe down after every use ensures it stays nice and clean.I'm loving this hob and have already found it so useful. We may also take it with us when we go away in our caravan. The price isn't bad at all and I would be happy to recommend it.
