I love this iPad stand!
I love everything about this stand except the price tag. But I am not going to knock any stars off because of that. It is the most versatile, most sturdy, and easiest to balance on your lap or even a single leg like I’m doing right. My dog is sleeping against my other leg 🐶I just purchased my second one after using the original for four years, seven days a week. One of the bars, to which the prop piece attaches on the base, finally broke. It’s nice to see that the Prop n Go people stuck to the original design. This one is every bit as accomodating as the first. So many companies change the recipe in order to reduce the price or keep it constant. This one may have gone up a few dollars over the last four years but I’m willing to pay for the quality rather than have the company cheapen the product. Thanks Prop n Go for for an excellent product!

Great Holder, but know what you are going to use it for
Likes:-Small-Light-Comfortable padding on bottom (more of a soft gel)-Holds iPad Air or iphone (pretty much any tablet)-folds up neatlyDislikes:-Not sturdy if you move a lot-Not the best if you lay with bent legsOverall:I think before you purchase this try to see it in person or look at the images. I put two images up under "customer images." The reason I bought this was because I tend to lay on the couch and use my iPad and I literally was just holding it up with my hands causing fatigue and pain. Sometimes I would lay with my legs folded up and just lean it against my legs but that would tend to get annoying too. For me, this was a good choice because I can lay on the couch, bed, or even the floor and be able to view my ipad without holding. Its sturdy enough for me, but I can see what people are talking about. If you move around or someone else is moving around a lot this will probably fall over or your tablet will. So I would caution you to make sure you know what you are purchasing. Besides that, the gel or foam on the bottom is really soft and comfortable. The multiple levels of adjustment is excellent for all types of slouch viewing or sitting up. I kind of wish there was enough design bedsides Poka dots on the bottom, but i can live with it! :)

Works even with it's Odd, Bulky Look...
OK, this Prop 'n Go looks funky (I think that's why my Bro-In-Law won't use it) but I use mine every single day. I waited 6 months before writing this review so I could truly test it out.It really allows me to use my devices/tablets (Apple, Samsung, MS Surface) with ease while sitting on the couch. I have a keyboard case with my tablet and it sits just fine on the Prop 'n Go. I like the ability to have different viewing angles too. My tablet doesn't move around as I type and the cushioning on the Prop 'n Go is super padded. You can even use it with your phone. It's a worthwhile item to get as every other case (even keyboard cases that have a large base) that I've purchased has never sat on my lap properly to be able to use it without the tablet falling down (or even off of my lap). The Prop 'n Go is a bit pricey but I'm pretty sure it will last for years.

Better than the rest
I have tried all the other kindle holders. I like to read in bed so I want something to sit on my stomach. The others were too bulky. This one is not THE BEST, but it’s the best of all the others I tried. I ordered two more as gifts.

Oh my! PERFECT!!!
***5 year update... I still love it and use it every single day ! ***I have a couple of other iPad stands, and although they are somewhat useful, this one is perfect! This one allows for 12 different height adjustments. You can always have your iPad, or similar device, at the perfect viewing angle. The bottom is a soft cushion, with pretty material. I hadn't found anything I don't like about this product. And it's plenty wide enough for my iPad in the landscape (and portrait ) mode, so not sure what that complaint is all about. It's almost the exact width of my iPad Air, at its widest side (landscape). I’m totally thrilled to have found this one. The others will collect dust now. LOL.Oh and.... It has a good size lip to keep your device from sliding off, and rubber gripper strips to keep your device secure. Also, the "upright adjustable part" will lie flat when not in use, so it isn't an inconvenient shape for storage.PS: for those that say they wish it was wider for their lap, or thicker to be up higher, do what I do, ...set it on a foam pillow in your lap. . Works like a champ.

Love this product!!!
I originally bought a Prop 'n Go for my mom as a Christmas present a few years back, because she was always concocting a way to keep her iPad at just the perfect angle in bed. After an online search, I chose one with a fuzzy pink bottom (her favorite color) and she LOVES it! When I upgraded my own iPad, I decided I'd like one for myself, and chose this cute print for mine. I love mine, too! It holds the iPad at pretty much any angle, and is VERY sturdy! My new iPad is a Pro with a 12.3-inch screen, so it's much larger than my mom's standard iPad. I was concerned about the stability of the Prop 'n Go on a bed with such a large screen and heavier weight, but it has held up wonderfully! Finally, no more need to use any other objects to hold the iPad at the right angle. My mom has used hers regularly over the past few years and it has held up just fine, even though it has received less-than-gentle treatment at times during travel. I'm very satisfied and would recommend this to anyone!
