Nobex R100 Do It Angle Saw, Grey

The physical size of the saw bed was a little smaller than I had hoped but it was fine for the job that I bought it for. I had previously bought a similar looking saw from B&Q. It was hopeless, the alignment of the upright guides was off, so accuracy was none existent. The Nobex R100 is an entirely different tool. It cut right angles and 45 degree mitres really well. I haven't tried compound mitre joints yet. Really pleased that I got it.

Really nice saw, bought to help cut fiddly pieces of wood. Needs a bit of extra clamping but accurate enough. Impressed for less than £50Went together simply enough, though the instructions are a bit brief. Took a bit of googling to figure out what the "mechanism" was all about - helps hold the saw up when you are adjusting the wood.

It's well thought and quite well made. Allows to make very clean cuts, though not intended for professional use.Good value. Should be sold with a 36 dpi blade rather than 18 tpi as most will use it for framing and won't cut anything big.

It was easy to assemble, the hardest bit of the assembly was the little tab that holds up the saw until you are ready to cut. Produce a very clean cut without tarot. A good price used it allready to make custom picture frame, will use for other joints.

This is a very good tool.I have used nobex mitre saws before.I think they are the best.Excellent tool at a great price.

As others have said the clamps are near useless. Also the saw doesn't seem to lock into an exact position there is a surprising amount of play at each of the ten locations. Also why ten locations? I and, I suspect nearly every one else only need to cut a 45 degrees ACCURATELY!!!

Used for first project at last, saw itself cuts very nicely BUT used it to cut some oak strip 36x15mm to make a frame, set to 45 degrees, and all the cuts were off frame looks awful and wood wasted. Will use a set square and manually measure and set saw to marks on wood ignoring the marked angles.
