Yes, it'll fit with the included adapter.

Q: Will this fit in a trx4 blazer if I use the straps instead of the factory hold down?

The Traxxas 2889x will not physically fit in the TRX4 Blazer. Additionally it will not work electronically as it has to many volts for the TRX4 speed controller.

Q: Does this work for X-Maxx Traxxas

These batterys, as delivered by StormerHobbies work in the X-Maxx. You need 2 of the battery for the X-Maxx.

Q: Will this work for a vxl-3s brushless power system? is the voltage too high?

The voltage is to high for a 3s system and the battery will not physically fit either. AND, if you're using a 2970 or 2972 charger, it's limited to 3s, so you wouldn't even have a way to charge it.
