I was a little leary buying it, because we'd already gotten her list, and are tight on money right now; but the Teacher at School had one, they'd watched the video, other Children had them, and She said the Elf always comes from Santa in a package in the mail, before Christmas, so She had asked him, and was waiting!So My Heart wouldn't let that go by, when She is 8 Now, and it might be the last year She believes everything....Hope not though.....I do!Anyway, it was the most perfect gift, and meant everything to her....This package was so much more than expected, the book is thick, the video great.....I would say it's worth the bit extra when you work it out, to get the full package!Thanks for selling it to Santa for Our Little Girl!

I believe this is my first Amazon review. I often don't have time to leave reviews but would like to do this more as I rely on customer reviews when searching items. That said, I must say that we love this whole set. My six year old daughter recently received an excellent report card and teacher review. She had been wanting the elf for a while and since she had such a great review, we decided to reward her with this set. So far we have only given her the DVD, book and elf. The other items will come from "Santa" on Christmas day. But the set was so economical we couldn't pass it up. In fact, I had it in my cart at $10.00 more than it's current price. Just before checkout, the price went down so I bought it right away! Everything is high quality and looks just like all the pictures you see here. The elf is made of felt and looks very "vintage" - which I believe is the essence of the story. Looking at it brings me back to my childhood and I think that was the appeal to my husband and I as we realized our daughter wanted it so badly. My daughter is so elated to have this elf and it's fun for the whole family as we see her discover it's new spot each morning. She is so amazed by it's "magic" and is really trying harder to be an even better student and helper around the house than she already is. She loves going to bed wondering where she will find the elf the next morning. I must say though, if you are serious about buying this set, please do your homework and make sure you know "the rules" about not touching the elf, etc. It's very important to the child to keep up the rules and tradition of this endearing story, thereby keeping the "magic" alive. We have fun at night looking for a new spot to place the elf after she falls asleep. We also delight in her expressions of wonder and joy in waking up trying to find the elf's new spot. I highly recommend this whole bundle as it's only $24.00 more than the actual book and elf itself.....well worth it for the sheer enjoyment of seeing that smile on your child's face.

It's a special joy to see the magical wonder in a child's eyes. This toy requires parental interaction to keep the Elf moving place to place to keep the "Magic" alive. My granddaughter and her parents are greatly enamored with "Elsa", the Elf (granddaughter's name for the Elf.

I bought this Elf on the Shelf gift bundle and it was amazing! It is the cutest thing ever. It had everything i was looking for and is the total package. The DVD is super cute and the plush doll is very soft, my daughter loves it!! She also thought the little elf ornament was amazing how i put her name on it! Overall this was a great purchase, anyone would love it. Every item in this bundle is a must have!
