I have been doing my own acrylics for a few years. I purchased the "cover nude blush" and this clear color. I have learned that the clear is so much easier to work with, almost perfect for a beginner. The pink chips after a week and also ruins my natural nails. This clear stays on my nails until I have enough growth to just file it down at the nail bed and add a little more. When I use the pink, it always turns out so thick and takes forever to file down. The clear I can make an almost perfect thickness. I really can't say enough about this clear powder.I also wanna mention a nail tip I've been dying to share: if you have natural nails but they're flimsy and break easily, top your nail with a uv base coat, leave it wet, sprinkle this acrylic powder over the wet base, then cure. Use a nail brush or a tooth brush to brush the access powder off. Repeat that process if needed (try bending your nail and see if it bends still). The nail is going to be a rough texture so I recommend using a uv polish. this is how I grow out my natural nails and then not really need full-on acrylics.
